WINTER

MADE IN SWITZERL AND

The Swiss Alps have taught us that only the best materials can truly rise to the challenges of winter. Only meticulous workmanship can enable them fully to unleash their benefits. That is why our entire ski manufacturing process takes place exclusively within our own production facility in Malters (Lucerne), Switzerland. stoeckli.ch/skiproduction WITH EXPERT FINESSE We create, test, and optimize our skis with one goal in mind: that in every turn the unique feeling of riding a Stรถckli ski comes alive. To achieve this, we combine innovative Technologiess with passionate craftsmanship. CAD programs and CNC milling machines assure precision just as much as the experienced hand of each and every employee.

3

A VIE W INSIDE THE S T Ö C K L I S K I M A N U FAC T O RY

Stöckli stands for passion and perfection. We pursue quality, materials and performance without compromise. The search for the perfect ski drives our development team—and no-one more than Ruede Arnet, Head of Stöckli Design. For over 40 years, his lifeblood has been to develop the next generation of Stöckli skis. RUEDI ARNET, WHAT HAS CHANGED IN THE 80-YEAR SUCCESS STORY OF STÖCKLI SKI CONSTRUCTION?

In the past, the focus of ski construction was less on design. Today, this is a constant consideration. Not only, because nowadays skis are tailored for every riding style and for every discipline, so the design needs to fit the character of the ski, but also because aesthetics as well as quality are becoming an increasingly important factor. WHAT HAS REMAINED TRADITIONAL IN YOUR SKI DESIGNS?

The raw materials we use. Over the years, I have worked with many different materials, but wood has always proven its worth. WHAT TRADITIONS DOES STÖCKLI HOLD ON TO AS A BUSINESS?

Exclusivity and Swiss-Made have always been important to us. Stöckli skis are not a mass product. There is still a lot of manual craftsmanship in our manufacturing process. That is how it should stay.

LASER SX

A really sporty all-rounder: Confident in its extremely universal character on nearly every piste. No matter if a hard or soft base, short or mid-radius turns: With its Tail Flex Control technology, the Laser SC stands for the best control and ample safety reserves. Relish every run individualized completely to how you feel that day or your personal needs. The Laser SC is always the right partner and is at home on any ski slope around the world.

Why replace an exceedingly successful model? Because StĂśckli thinks you can always make it even better. The new Laser SX is the best proof of that. This model with Turtle Shell technology adapts to your skiing and can be precisely controlled at any speed and turn radius. At moderate speeds it responds smoothly to any pressure applied to the edges. At higher speeds, like in Giant Slalom turns, the skis offer a stable ride that‘s smooth as silk and, of course, just like first-class racing equipment. Take your dynamic power to the slopes.

Whether you choose a directionally stable model with plenty of float or a lightweight version, the Stormrider will put the mountain at your feet.

31

TECHNOLOGIES SF

SOFTFLEX

The adjusted flex curve gives a comfortable and dynamic riding experience.

+ optimal ski flexing + less effort + reduced weight

TITEC

TITANAL TECHNOLOGY

The design is applied directly to the upper Titanal band during the sublimation process.

+ saves weight because there is no need for a polyamide surface

VRT

VARIO RACING TECHNOLOGY

SLC

LIGHT CORE/ SUPER LIGHT CORE

The Titanal layer becomes thinner at the tip and on the tail of the ski. The VRT technology has already been used in motor racing, with great success.

Use of special wood types like Fuma and Balsa.

+ improved control and precision + immediate and harmonious

characteristics + very durable

turn initiation

SME

SOLID METAL EDGE

Skis with wider edges. This extends the lifetime of the ski. Extra durable materials further protect the ski surface from damage.

+ longer lifetime + more edge-sharpening services

+ lighter cores save weight + dynamic handling

TGL

THIN GLASS LAMINATE

Thin glass laminate is about 25% lighter than conventional laminates.

+ Reduced weight without sacrificing rigidity

are possible over the lifetime of the ski

SST

SANDWICH SIDEWALL TECHNOLOGY

The ski is built up layer by layer, with each layer glued together under pressure – a well-proven manufacturing process in ski construction.

+ optimum energy transfer + optimum precision + heavy-duty construction

ROCKER

ROCKER

The longer curvature of the shovel, called rocker technology, is specially adapted for each ski model.

+ better float in powder + less effort required + easier to turn on pistes + easier edging

TFC

TAIL FLEX CONTROL

Rubber insert on the ski tail.

+ easier drifting at the end of a turn + improved control

STORMRIDER PRO 115

STORMRIDER 105

Here comes a load of powder power! The Pro 115 is the widest ski among the Stormrider models. It is particularly keen on untouched slopes of fresh powder, which it conquers with great maneuverability and high directional stability. Its shovel now has even more precise reaction ability, and you will be impressed by its unbelievable float, optimum stability, and clear focus. Get away from the daily grind and off to the powder!

Cut not quite as wide as the Pro 115 but designed for a wider variety of uses−this is the Stormrider 105. It feels quite at home on any terrain and it obeys every command with its fine handling ability. The VRT technology, which was first used in this model, guarantees stability and precision control, both on speedy descents as well as when drifting.

STORMRIDER 95

STORMRIDER 97

The Stormrider 95 plows along unflinchingly even over demanding terrain and gets along well with all snow conditions. Equipped with the Powder Rocker and TiTec, it is torsionally rigid, with directional stability, but nevertheless very light. And, like all Stormrider models, it is guaranteed to attract attention with a direct printed Titanal top sheet. A ski that follows your thoughts and translates them into action.

This successful newcomer in the backcountry segment will rev up every deep powder hound. The Stormrider 97 has very lightweight construction just right for short ascents. On the descent it performs well too, with a more subtle sidecut and optimum float that redefines the meaning of skiing fun. A dream team for any mountain.

STORMRIDER 88

STORMRIDER 83

The Stormrider 88 has eliminated all limits. Solid in construction and light in weight, it positively flies with you on longer ascents toward the summit. With direct printing on the Titanal topsheet, this ski is equipped with our Powder Rocker. That makes it a particularly fine ride off-piste and guarantees unforgettable moments in deep powder.

Light, lighter, Stormrider 83. This flyweight ensures that you really get your money‘s worth on long ascents. Its somewhat more subtle sidecut plus a shovel that‘s not too wide makes it easy for this ski to find the perfect line. With its brilliant maneuverability, this sporty ski guarantees tingly fun on even the most demanding descents.

RACE TEAM

RX TEAM

Skiing should be a pleasure. Especially when kids and adolescents dare to step onto a piste for the first time. To make sure all of this is just child‘s play, we developed the Race Team. This is the ski that even ski instructors envy.

The RX Team for the biggest of the little ones. This ski is built to adapt to the unconventional skiing style of the youngest racers and, above all else, is enormous fun.
