Welcome...

On behalf of our sale hosts and the sale partners, allow me to welcome you to The 15th Annual Season Finale. The programs involved are some of the most respected and progressive in the mid-west. The Kopp program has long been recognized for great club calf females and as a pioneer in the club calf industry. No one knows the value of a good female more that the folks at Kopp Land & Livestock. For twenty plus years Campbellco has been competitive at the highest level, in the 90’s Dave and Jody were breeding and exhibiting National Champions and today their son Blake carries on the family tradition. Daughter Kayla new son-n-law Jon Sweeney has became quite the two person judging duo. The Brian Cummings family produces some of the top prospects each year, and has powerful cows that have generated some really great herd sires. We are in the cattle business… But we are more so in the people business… We are in the business of helping people achieve their success. The partners offer these bred cattle to generate income for each of there programs but more importantly they hope the cattle they offer for sale will help you to reach your goals and dreams …The vast majority of these females will go make youth project cattle whether you and your family retain them or you offer there expecting and future calves for sale we hope your reach your goals of winning the purple ribbon or turn a profit for your own operation. This is not a sale of HYPE and FADS this is a event with great cattlemen offering you the opportunity to invest and add some of their top females to your herd. I have countless stories where older cows have sold out of this event and their 1st calf more then pays for the cow and often times sells for more than twice what any of her previous calves have brought. With the craziness that surrounds us all during the Holiday season we really do appreciate your time to check out the offering, we look forward to seeing you in Hillsboro for our sale. Videos on many of the lots will be on-line the week leading up to the sale and we offer absentee bidding for those who can not make it. You may either choose to bid by phone though one of the sale staff or sale partners or you may utilize the web-casting service provided by Cowbuyer.com. When Wade came to look at calves he said ”Don’t get in a hurry to sell the IGWT calf.” He was right that calf looked much better in the fall. These My Turn’s on Full Flush cows has always worked for us. Miss Kopp 165 has just enough power to raise those high dollar show calves. With her neat front end and her nearly perfect hind leg, her calves are always standouts. She is bred to Hi Ho Silver for an early calf and an early return on your investment.

There isn’t anything hotter than these Maine cows bred to Purebred Angus bulls. You will love the design of this cow. She is huge topped, deep bodied and elephant legged. She is incredibly sound yet incredibly massive. She should be a cash cow for years to come.

We sold a bred heifer out of Miss Kopp 074 and the Kopp 43 (SOS Son) in the 2014 Season Finale for $3500.00. This year she had a smokie, American Snipper heifer that was retained in the herd. She is bred the best she has ever been to Driving 80. The more I am around the Driving 80 cattle, I realize he is one of the most under-utilized bulls in the Maine Anjou breed. A Driving 80 daughter was just named Champion Maine Anjou female at the North American Jr. Maine Anjou Show.

This purebred Angus female isn’t no tiny thing. She is as easy fleshing as they come, big volumed, good uttered with perfect teat size. We are retaining her baldy heifer this year. She is rebred for another repeat. She is also the mother of the natural walking herd sire at NS Angus.
