On behalf of our sale hosts and the sale partners, allow me to welcome you to The 14th Annual Season Finale. The programs involved are some of the most respected and progressive in the mid-west. The Kopp program has long been recognized for great club calf females and as a pioneer in the club calf industry. No one knows the value of a good female more that the folks at Kopp Land & Livestock. For twenty plus years Campbellco has been competitive at the highest level, in the 90’s Dave and Jody were breeding and exhibiting National Champions and today their son Blake carries on the family tradition. Daughter Kayla new son-n-law Jon Sweeney has became quite the two person judging duo. The Brian Cummings family produces some of the top prospects each year, and has powerful cows that have generated some really great herd sires. Larry Simmons Farms, the cattle they bring are always top notch. Larry is investing in some of the most elite genetics on the market today and this can’t help but increase the quality offered to you. As you look though the offering I really want to advise you to think about your current cows, are all of them producing for you? Most have that percentage [Usually 15% to 20%] of your cows who are older or who have NEVER produced and likely never will, but they are good cows that don’t present problems and you keep them around, they never cost you money but never advance your program…Sell them! This is the year to cut them from the herd and advance your program! That maybe consider HARD TALK but it’s the truth, sell the ones not making you money and consider investing in some really good young bred heifers to give your program a little kick start replace some older stagnate genetics with something that offers your herd a little something different. With the craziness that surrounds us all during the Holiday season we really do appreciate your time to check out the offering, we look forward to seeing you in Hillsboro for our sale. Videos on many of the lots will be on-line the week leading up to the sale and we offer absentee bidding for those who can not make it. You may either choose to bid by phone though one of the sale staff or sale partners or you may utilize the web-casting service provided by Liveauctions.tv. Feel free to contact myself or any of the sale members to visit about the offering and assist with your purchasing decisions, we can arrange affordable trucking across the U.S. and have a long track record of satisfied customers. As always if I can assist you in any way please feel free to contact me. 937-533-0160.
LOT 1 Miss Kopp 5175 Spring 2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 5175 Sire: TC Freedom Dam: Commercial AI’ed 4/25 & 5/18 to Jessie James Vet Called Due 2/23 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/25 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to 5/18 PM: 193.75 cm2
Most every early visitor that has walked through these bred heifers has found Miss Kopp 5175. She is stunning from the side and has more power and hair than you would think for a TC Freedom calf. Her breeding possibilities are endless, breed her clubby because she should be free of all defects. Breed her maternal to raise those great show heifers or replacement females, either way you will be taking money to the bank.
LOT 2 Miss Kopp 523 2/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 523 Sire: Monopoly 2 Dam: Smooth Sailing X Angus AI’ed 4/22 to No Worries Vet Called Due 1/29 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI Date PM: 227.5 cm2
Not your typical Monopoly heifer, Miss Kopp 523 is a bit bigger and more maternal than you would think and probably balances up as nice as any in the sale. She is smooth shouldered, long necked, and gets wider the further back you get. Her mother is a big cow that probably tips the scales at 1800 pounds.
LOT 3 Miss Kopp 530 2/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 530 Sire: GF Maximus Dam: Summitcrest Angus AI’ed 4/26 to Bush Unbelievable Vet Called Due 2/2 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 195 cm2
Everybody knows these Sim/Angus cows make some of the best mothers in the industry, here is your chance to own a Maximus female. She is out of a great Summitcrest bred cow that has always done a great job. Miss Kopp 530 is a beautiful female to look at, weather you are admiring her big bold rib cage or her thickness in her top and out through her pin set. She is one that you will love for many years to come. She should be free of all genetic defects by pedigree.
LOT 4 Miss Kopp 513
2/2015 :: Blk :: CAMP 513 Sire: Frisky Whiskey Dam: Maximus X Simmental AI’ed 4/17 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 1/24 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/15 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 187.5 cm2
Miss Campbell 513 should be TH clean by pedigree but she has hair like a carrier. She is most definitely one of the big haired ladies in the sale. She was out of a first calf heifer and only weighed 72# at birth. I would epect a light birth weight Sweet Baby James calf with maybe a little white on its head. This Frisky Whiskey bred heifer starts right from the ground up. She has a big foot and bone with plenty of muscle up high. I would look her up sale day.
LOT 5 Miss Kopp 5112 4/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 5112 Sire: Kopp New Look Son Dam: Angus AI’ed 5/17 to Jessie James Vet Called Due 2/23 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem) 6/5 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 195 cm2
This 3/4 commercial Angus bred heifer has a lot to offer the industry in terms of practicality. She is an easy keeping heifer with plenty of body to maintain that easy keeping look. She has the extra fertility, like her mother, and I would expect her to breed back quickly. We have had some success breeding heifer like this to Jessie James for and easy marketable calf.
LOT 6 Miss Kopp 518
2/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 518 Sire: Armada Dam: Simmental X Angus AI’ed 4/21 & 5/12 to Slider Vet Called Due 2/18 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/25 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to 5/12 date PM: 245 cm2
Another bred heifer that has been a favorite of many that have visited this year. Miss Kopp 518 has one of the best mother’s of her age group, that we think someday will be a donor for us. She is a 3/4 sib to the high selling bred heifer out of the Season Finale, a few years ago. She was purchased by the Van Zante and Blankenship families and they think she is the best looking cow in the pasture. Slider is a Northern Improvement son that is easy calving and gives his calves a nice look.
LOT 7 Miss Kopp 567 3/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 567 Sire: Alpha Male Dam: Heat Seeker AI’ed 4/25 to Bush Unbelievable Vet Called Due 2/1 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 192 cm2
If you are looking to add muscle mass and dimension to your calf crop, this Alpha Male bred heifer is the ticket. If you study this heifer in her lower 1/3 of her quarter you will be impressed by the amount of muscle shape. Best of all, she has a big swoop to her belly. She is bred this year to Bush Unbelievable for an easy first calf but i could see her getting bred to Hi Ho Silver in the very near future, I think that would really work.
LOT 8 Miss Kopp 587 3/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 587
Sire: Itallion Stallion Dam: Kopp Meyer 734 son X Everclear AI’ed 5/7 to I-80 Vet Called Due 2/13 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 212.5 cm2 This blaze-faced beauty is near the top of everyone’s favorite list. She reads very maternal through her front one third but has the thickness and power to compete with the best in the pasture. A huge pelvic measurement translates to a big hip and pin set. Her elegant extension, extra depth, softer leg and flank will keep her babies sounder and easy to sell. Her I-80 calf could be the first of many premium babies from this young gal.
LOT Miss Kopp 529 :: Blk :: 9 2/2015 Sire: Italian Stallion
Dam: Full Flush X Meyer AI’ed 5/2 to Bush Unbelievable Vet Called Due 2/8 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI Date PM: 180 cm2
Pay attention when this bred hits the ring and make sure you are the last one to bid. If she produces like her mother she will settle AI every time and you will have no problem selling them. She has been an early favorite of many including Lincoln Land Community College judging team. She is made right and maybe more maternal than you would expect. She is square hipped and has plenty of shape about her ribs. She is sound made and extremely good jointed. Miss Kopp 529 is bred to the angus sensation Bush Unbelievable for an easy first calf. If it is a heifer let us know we might be interested in her.

LOT Miss Kopp 571 :: Blk :: KOPP 571 11 3/2015 Sire: Kopp New Look Son Dam: Kopp Carney Man Son AI’ed 4/16 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 1/23 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 207.25 cm2
Miss Kopp 571 is level in her design and feminine in her front. She reads very maternal in her front one third and has the belly swoop of a major leaguer. All four feet go the right direction on this bred heifer and she has the extra soundness built into her back leg for years of productivity. She is bred early to Sweet Baby James, perfect for early calf sales or mid to late summer jackpot shows.
3/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 548

This bred heifer is backed by a great cow family, her grand dam sells as Lot 62. She not only has the power bred in but also has longevity to be a productive cow at 10 years of age. Miss Kopp 548 is a big hipped heifer that had a huge pelvic measurement. She is lovely from every angle and she is bred to go the distance.

2/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 542
Sire: I-67 Dam: Sim/Angus X Commercial SIm AI’ed 5/22 to Bush Unbelievable Vet Called Due 2/28 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/25 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI Date PM: 168 cm2
Miss Kopp 542
My experience with I-67 is that they get better the older they get. Miss Kopp 542 is getting better every day and she is going to mature into a nice cow. She does a nice job of combining size, structure and power while staying extremely feminine. She is double clean, and has a pedigree that is an outcross to most of the popular club calf bulls.
LOT Miss Campbell 553 :: Blk :: CAMP 553 16 3/2015 Sire: I-67
Dam: Miss Campbell 344 AI’ed 5/31 to No Pressure Vet Called Due 3/9 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem) 6/10 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 180 cm2
Melissa showed the grand dam, Miss Kopp 488, a few years back and was quite competitive in the Maine Anjou division. Miss Campbell 553 is another eye appealing daughter of I-67 with enough hip and power through her top to raise those great show steers. If you want to breed her to your favorite maternal bull, I think she is smooth in her shoulder, elegant about her head and neck. She is a very versatile female that the breeding options are limitless.
LOT Miss Kopp 516 :: Blk :: KOPP 516 17 2/2015 Sire: Goet Driving 80
Dam: Gucci AI’ed 5/5 to No Pressure Vet Called Due 2/11 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem son) 6/1 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 208 cm2 Out of a former show heifer, this white-socked Driving 80 bred heifer has the style to catch anyone’s eye. She is super attractive from the side, with her long neck and spine, level from hooks to pins and plenty of body swoop. She is bred to Wade Rodgers new Angus bull No Pressure, who is a Brilliance on a BC Lookout Dam. His mother was Supreme Champion female at the Kansas State Fair.
LOT Miss Kopp 5108 :: Blk w/ some white :: KOPP 5108 18 4/2015 Sire: Kopp 50 Dam: One and Only X Heat Seeker AI’ed 6/9 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 3/18 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem) 6/12 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 177.5 cm2
Miss Kopp 5108 is out of a former show heifer that we purchased from our good friend Delbert Kramer. She was very competitive in the commercial division in Indiana. This bred heifer is, like her mother, good from the side and good in her lines. I would expect her Sweet Baby James calf to be small at birth and maybe have some white on it.
3/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 562
Sire: Walk This Way Dam: JDS Stout X Angus AI’ed 4/19 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 1/26 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem) 6/10 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 195.75 cm2
Miss Kopp 562
We have had a few of these Walk This Way calves and they are some that get better every day of their life. Miss Kopp 562 is huge footed and boned and has the extra look to make her very versatile in your future breeding decisions. She has the extra thickness behind her blades and carries her thick top back into her hip. Expect a light birth weight calf that gets up and nurses toward the end of January.
LOT Miss Kopp 5176 2015 :: Blk 20 Spring Sire: Goet I-80
:: KOPP 5176
Dam: Commercial AI’ed 5/7 to WWSC Slider Vet Called Due 2/13 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 201.5 cm2
An I-80 bred to the Northern Improvement son, Slider, that should result in a low birth weight practical calf. Miss Kopp 5176 is good from the side and she has a nice pattern to her. She is long necked, smooth shoulder and comes out wide from behind her blade. She has plenty of depth through the center portion of her body, moves on a big foot and takes a long stride.
LOT Miss Kopp 555 :: Blk :: KOPP 555 21 3/2015 Sire: Kopp New Look Son
Dam: Summitcrest Complete Angus AI’ed 5/16 to No Worries Vet Called Due 2/22 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/25 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 205.75 cm2
One of the few bred to the double clean I-80 son, No Worries and did we pick a good one to breed that way. Miss Kopp 555 is massive topped; long spine and she might have the most extension through her front than any animal in the sale. With the amount of foot and bone she has you can almost feel the ground shake as she walks. She is free of genetic defects by pedigree and her future mating possibilities are endless. I might breed her dirty next time and see how good she can make them.
2/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 535
Sire: Maximus Dam: Angus AI’ed 5/31 to I-80 Vet Called Due 3/9 P.E. Cash Daddy 6/1 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 195.75 cm2
Miss Kopp 535
This is a no-nonsense female that has excellent size and fleshing ability. She has the quality look and the extra power we have become accustomed to with Maximus. Miss Kopp 535 is sound and maternal with a pedigree that should be free of all genetic defects. She is bred to I-80 for a quick return on investment.
LOT 23 Miss Kopp 5177
Spring 2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 5177 Sire: LFCC Unstoppable 727x Dam: by Bad Medicine AI’ed 5/5 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 2/11 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 198.25 cm2
If you are looking for the kind of bred heifer or cow that you can go out in the pasture and scratch, this is the one to buy. Miss Kopp 5177 is extremely gentle and she is extremely nice fronted for an Unstoppable. She not only has a smooth shoulder but she show plenty of thickness over her top and into her pin set.
LOT Miss Kopp 594 4/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 594 24 Sire: Kopp 33 Dam: Commercail Sim/Angus AI’ed 5/4 to Slider 5/27 to Frisky Whiskey Vet Called Due 3/5 P.E. Cash Daddy 6/1 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to 5/27 date PM: 205.75 cm2
A 3/4 Angus 1/4 Simmental bred heifer sells in this lot but maybe more importantly she is bred to the Irish Whiskey Grandson, Frisky Whiskey. She is beautiful from the side and has the type of an all-purpose cow that should be productive for years to come. She should be double clean by pedigree and she is double good phenotypically.
4/2015 :: Blk :: KOPP 596
Sire: Kopp 33 Dam: Carney Man son AI’ed 5/4 to No Pressure Vet Called Due 2/10 P.E. Kopp 18 (Bluestem) 6/1 to 7/25 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 193.75 cm2
Miss Kopp 596
This is a maternal beast that has some breed legends in her pedigree, such as Carneyman and Friction. We sold many show steers out of her friction sired grand dam. I don’t think it matters if you study this young bred heifer on the stand or on the move, you will surely lover her style and balance.
LOT Miss Campbell 597 :: Blk :: CAMP 597 26 4/2015 Sire: Kopp 33 Dam: Heat Seeker AI’ed 5/13 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 2/19 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/25 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 198.75 cm2
If you like your cows extra fertile this bred heifer fits the bill. I know she is calving at just over 22 months but with her size and being bred to Sweet Baby James I think you will be fine. Last year I had less trouble with Sweet Baby James calves than most Angus bulls I used. They were little at birth and they jumped up and started nursing before you knew the heifer was in labor. Miss Campbell 597, grand dam is one of Larry Campbell’s old donor cows, trust the breeding here and you will be rewarded with a productive cow for years to come.
LOT Miss Kopp 540 :: Blk :: KOPP 540 27 2/2015 Sire: Commercial Maine/Angus Dam: Commercial Angus AI’ed 4/30 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 2/6 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 219.25 cm2
One of the few that we lost her ears and tail on a cold night in 2015. Strictly a commercial bred heifer sells in this lot but she has plenty of belly and size to be a very productive cow. AI’ed early to Sweet Baby James for a quick return on investment.
LOT Miss Kopp 1005 :: Blk :: KOPP 1005 28 2/2015 Sire: Expiditer 005x Dam: Commercial AI’ed 4/15 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 1/22 P.E. Cash Daddy 5/20 to 8/18 Ultra-Sounded to AI date PM: 212 cm2
We bought this bred heifer on the side of her mother from Doug Gerber and she has been a joy to work with. She is very maternal in her design and extremely feminine in her front 1/3. Her future mating decision are limitless. She should be a productive cow for many years.
LOT Cummings :: 515 29 2/2015 Sire: Itallion Stallion
Dam: O&K Rory (Irish Whiskey x Chill Factor) AI’ed 4/23 to Slider Vet Called Due 1/31 P.E. High Regard son 5/3 to 8/13
This is a maternal sister to one of Campbell CO’s high sellers from the 2015 Season Finale Sale and just as she didn’t disappoint, neither will this one. This bred female is deep, wide, and easy fleshing. Her mother put another heifer back in the replacement pen again this year for us. This cow family is consistent and profitable.
LOT Cummings 2/2015 :: 532 NE 30 Sire: Duff New Edition
Dam: Big Foor (SOS x Paddy O’Mally) AI’ed 4/27 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 2/4 P.E. High Regard son 5/3 to 8/13
These Duff New Edition Daughters just make phenomenal cows, I wish I had more of them; with SOS, Paddy O’Mally, & Meyer 734 on her bottom side I would expect this female to last a long time. She is extremely quiet and easy keeping and I would expect her to have a great udder too.
LOT Cummings :: 524 31 2/2015 Sire: Simple Man
Dam: Eye Witness AI’ed 4/28 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 3/23 P.E. High Regard son 5/3 to 8/13 Ultra-Sounded to High Regard son
This female is so soft, deep and big ribbed. If you’re not familiar with Simle Man he is a calving ease bull that is a Shiver x Paddy O’Malley. I have a few of these females and I’m happy with the results. This female is double bred calving ease with Rocky Balboa and Money Man on the bottom side.
LOT Cummings :: 571 32 3/2015 Sire: Monopoly II
Dam: Donor 71 (DJ Engineer) AI’ed 5/4 to Slider Vet Called Due 2/11 P.E. High Regard son 5/7 to 8/13
If you remember the two colored flush mates that we brought last year that were well recieved, then here is your opportunity to purchase a full sib. This female combines the best of the two from last year, long necked, clean fronted, elegant front one third with a soft deep middle which stands on a sound structure.

Sire: Monopoly II Dam: Donor 15M (Fax II x Angus) AI’ed 5/15 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 2/22 P.E. High Regard son 5/23 to 8/13 It seems like I write the same thing every time when I talk about this pedigree, but there is a reason for that. I can’t remember the last time I did a sale, that didn’t have this mating in it. Here is your chance to purchase two daughters of the most consistent flush we have ever had the chance to work with, with over 30 ET calves to date. Unfortunately, this may be your last chance to acquire these genetics that have worked so well and consistently for us, as we lost Donor 15M and the tanks are empty of embryo’s. Two different females, but equally high quality. Power in the Blood!
LOT Cummings :: 513 35 4/2015 Sire: O&K Rory (Irish Whiskey x Chill Factor) Dam: Fat Butt AI’ed 6/28 to Slider Vet Called Due 4/7 P.E. High Regard son 7/1 to 8/13
This 1/2 blood simmy, 3/8 Maine female is young and still very immature. I believe when she turns 3 or 4 all your neighbors will be jealous of you. This female’s Fat Butt mother is a direct daughter of Dream On & the one and only Lazy H Burn Baby Burn R34. You can’t stack any more power house maternal genetics in one pedigree. This female’s best days are still in front of her. Pay attention here.
LOT Cummings 3/2015 :: 522 36 Sire: Witness (Rocky Balboa x Money Man) Dam: Angus Cross AI’ed 4/24 to Sweet Baby James Vet Called Due 3/13 P.E. High Regard son 5/7 to 8/13 Ultra Sounded to High Regard son
This moderate, soft, cowy made female is a little plainer in her look, but this is the kind that works, produces, and last over time. This female should work nicely with our 1/2 blood High Regard son. This one will be a productive female for many years.

A bigger framed, stouter made bred heifer sells in this lot. Her mother was purchased from Ted Jester and she was a belly-dragging cow. Miss Kopp 1403 is a long and level spine cow that has plenty of flex in her legs and joints. She should be a very productive cow for years to come. Her I-67 calf should be an eye catcher next fall.

Miss Kopp 1404 is the sappy, sowy, big boned, versatile kind that will lead to big thing in the very near future. She is super wide and three dimensional in her design. A powerfully constructed cow from the ground up. A ton of body, foot and bone best describe this front pasture cow. She is bred to Fu Man Chu who’s calves have been topping sales and winning the biggest shows in the country. The calf in her belly could more than pay for this cow. She was in the wrong pasture on picture day, so I would look her up on sale day, you won’t be disappointed.

One of the old standby Full Flush cows that wouldn’t be around if she wasn’t still making us money. Her 2012 heifer by Monopoly 2 sold for $3,500 and she had a late born heifer in 2016 that we will keep. Wade told me to use some Man 2 Man this spring he said they were some of Goet’s best calves. A rare find in any sale across the country, a true Meyer 734 cow that will bleed. She is probably the most moderate framed Meyer that has ever walked our pastures. She is big bellied, big boned and big topped and milks for a ton. We flushed her twice last year averaging 14 #1 eggs per flush. A nice Heat Wave cow sells in this lot, she has had 2 April calves in a row but we now have her bred up to calve in March to the popular I-80. This I-80 x Heat Wave cross works nearly every time and the resulting calf can be registered as a ½ blood Maine Anjou. If you pay attention to several of the top club calf breeders, a lot of the mother of their top calves is bred similar to this cow. This cow has her whole life ahead of her and I might consider Hi Ho Silver on this cow in the very near future.

This female is as gentle and as broke as they come. I purchased this heifer as a baby calf because I thought she could raise some big time steers. I believe my intuition was correct - take a look at her first calf we are offering here. This very young female has a ton of future in her to raise some incredible steers in the future. My five year old led her around as a yearling as my three year old would ride her, not even joking. The only reason we are letting her go is because she didn’t like kids when she calved. Cows can be replaced my family cannot.
