Seaview Spring & Summer - Issue 30

Happy New Year Welcome to a new-look Seaview. We have taken our own advice and adopted a ‘new year – new you’ feel with lots more images showcasing the fantastic place that is St Michael’s. Spring in Falmouth is unique in so many ways – from the sub-tropical plants that flower only in certain gardens around the south coast, to the big spring tides making sailing a pleasurable pastime. Spring is the perfect time to rediscover St Michael’s Hotel. We very much look forward to welcoming you back soon, and in the meantime we wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year.

Tall Ships Regatta - 28 - 30 August

To travel is to live

Cornwall has over 50 glorious gardens to visit.

Spring is one of the best times to visit Falmouth. Our position on the south coast of Cornwall engenders a special eco-climate where sub-tropical flowers and plants thrive. We are surrounded by beautiful gardens - not least our own four acres - Trebah, Trelissick and Glendurgan all have special greenery that vary between their micro-climates. And all are accessible with a Mussel Card, available from reception, for green travelling free on buses, trains, ferries and water taxis – the perfect way to explore Cornwall. Our garden breaks include complimentary tickets to three gardens, find out more at In a landmark moment in history Falmouth and London will host one of the biggest international sailing events solely in English waters. From 28th to 30th August over 30 Tall Ships from around the world will arrive in Falmouth for 3 days of festivities. Book early to make sure you get a spot to watch this iconic event:
