CHURCH FAMILY NEWS 1. The Trustees (Congregational Board members and Elders) will meet at the close of worship this morning to approve the annual Accounts. 2. The Annual General Meeting of St Mark’s Church will take place during morning worship next Sunday, 11 March. 3. The Kirk Session will meet on Monday 12 March at 7.30 pm. Relevant papers will be available in the Deacons’ Room this morning. 4. Office Bearers will have begun telephoning the congregation, as mentioned in the last Church Magazine. If you have not received a call by the end of March, please contact Diane. 5. The Guild of Friendship meets tomorrow afternoon when Moira and Fred will provide the entertainment. 6. The Guild and Men’s Club meet together tomorrow evening when Steve Packwood will talk on Operation Mobilisation. There will also be a Bring and Buy sale. 7. The Scottish Country Dancers meet on Wednesday evening at 7.30 pm. 8. Lent Studies “Ram to Lamb”: this series of five weekly Lenten studies will begin in St Mark’s on Friday 9 March at 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. The studies continue every Friday afternoon up to Good Friday. The studies are open to people from all three parish grouping churches - everyone welcome.
9. The Menâ€™s Club is holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 10 March from 10 am â€“ 1 pm. Donations of home bakes and items for the Raffle would be most welcome. Please come along and support us. 10. Afternoon Communion on Sunday 1 April: volunteer drivers are required to take members of the Circle of Care to and from Communion. Please add your name to the list in the vestibule if you are able to help. 11. The Signing Class will meet on Wednesday 7 March at 6.30 pm. All are welcome! 12. Fairtrade Helpers - if anyone is interested in running a Fairtrade table when we have coffee/tea after Sunday Services please give your name to the Church Office using the slip which is available in the vestibule or in the Hall. 13. The Aberdeen City Centre Parish Grouping Prayer Circle will meet in Queen Street Church chapel on Wednesday 7 March at 2.30 pm. Please come along and be part of an informal gathering of people from all three of the grouping churches. 13. Advanced Notice: there will be a Pilgrimage to Israel in November 2013.
