Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them 14. But Jesus said, suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:13-14

Peculiar People & A.B.L.A.I.Z.E. Peculiar People is taken from 2 Peter 2:9 and is designed for youth in 5th – 8th grade. This sub-group works to build unwavering faith and consistent relationship with Christ as youth learn to apply the word of God to everyday living. Special programs and activities appeal to physical, spiritual, mental, social and emotional questions and needs that pre-teens have. Peculiar People are the newest of the sub groups and boy are they energetic! The huddle group is led by Sis. Rachel Bivens. This age group now has Children’s Church on the corresponding Sunday’s of Kingz Kidz Children’s Church. This is a time for bible application. This sub-group is on fire for Jesus and seeks opportunities to boldly profess Christ and model his actions in every aspect of their life. Recognizing the importance of discipleship is at the core of this group. The constructed programming elicits leadership characteristics, applies the word of God to real experiences, and prepares youth for independent living. The A.B.L.A.I.Z.E. huddle is led by Bro. P.J. Lambey and Sis. Kiah Brewer. The group will receive school visits from their leaders and youth director. Greetings Parents, I have thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity of getting to know your child(ren) as well as teaching them the word of God and watching them grow spiritually. This task that the Lord has given me has been quite the journey for me spiritually and personally, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. It brings me great pleasure to watch the youth interact with each other, enjoy each other’s company, and build bonds that will last a lifetime.
