HiPer fine-tooth reversible ratchet wins Red Dot 2020 The Red Dot Jury has cast its vote: The excellent design quality of the HAZET 916 HPLG helped it win the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020. This puts the Remscheid-based manufacturer of quality tools and workshop equipment HAZET among the winners of the internationally renowned design competition.
916 HPLG – Modern forms shaped by the art of innovative engineering Following the 916 HP and 916 HPL, the 916 HPLG is now the third ½ inch reversible ratchet from the HiPer HighPerformance series. It too combines power and precision: 1000 Nm maximum load limit with 90 teeth, which means an operating angle of only 4° . The 1000 Nm correspond to almost twice the DIN specification, which is 512 Nm. The special feature of this ratchet is its continuous adjustability between 414 and 614 mm without pre-fixed detent points, which puts it ahead of conventional ratchets. Its twist protected handle ensures optimum force transmission without slipping. What's more, the 916HPLG is designed for a long service life due to its materials and production process, which likewise withstood twice the load of 100,000 operations (ISO 50,000) with flying colours. This high permanent load guarantees the ratchet's tremendous durability.
