It is Easter Break and all is quiet here in College, but spring has sprung and we have been busy hosting potential students at our Open days, and organising, in collaboration with the DLI, Sounding of Retreat. We also hosted the annual ‘Twos Up’ Dinner, where we welcomed back over thirty former Bede men. We are currently in the process of preparing the upcoming Hild Bede Alumni Association Magazine, so if you have any information you would like to share, please do send it in either by post at College of St Hild and St Bede, St. Hild’s Lane, Durham City, DH1 1SZ.or email at email@example.com.
The highlight of the Hild Bede social calendar, College Day, will take place this year on 4 May. Our alumni community are very welcome to join us for the Cathedral service at 11am and to picnic on the college lawn. We hope to see you there!
Hild Bede Alumni Association nominations We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to vote in the recent Alumni Association elections. The results are in and we are delighted to announce that Darren Funnell, Hild Bede (1991-1994), will be the new Chair. Tony Smith, Bede College (1968-1971), will resume his role as treasurer with his daughter Megan as Assistant Treasurer.

Team Hild Bede
Our College sports teams have done phenomenally well this year and a special mention must go to our womens' football team, the Mooses, who were awarded Team of the Year at the Clubs and Socs Formal, and also won the semi-final of the Floodlit cup, before being beaten by Collingwood in the final. Well done ladies!
