Info EXPLORERS is the children’s church for 0 to 11s in the Church Centre. Fortnightly we meet in the Church first. Please collect children at 11.50am.
GIVING There is an opportunity to give during the service. If you intend to give regularly, please pick up Standing Order and Gift Aid forms in the foyer.
ROOTS is our 11-18s congregation. In the morning service, when prompted to leave, meet leaders in the foyer.
INDUCTION LOOP St George’s is fitted with an induction loop; please speak to a Steward for assistance.
PRAYER MINISTRY is offered during and after services at the front of church. If you would like to pray about anything, please ask one of our trained prayer ministers.
PASTORAL CARE We are seeking to be a community where everyone can be supported and cared for. We encourage you to ask for support, or get someone to ask on your behalf and we will respond as best we can.
REFRESHMENTS are served after services in the Community Room.

Come along to either hear a talk, paint a hero, play bible top trumps, meet a member of clergy in the welcome area, join in an interactive bible study or, if you’re an international student, receive a special welcome with a presentation on all that happens here at St George’s. One of our interns will also be selling some homemade goods to help fund her year here.

Why not join them if you are interested in being part of a Network? ROMANIA SHOEBOX APPEAL Last Christmas’ appeal was a success. About 250 shoeboxes from St George’s and almost 3000 from all over England made it to Romania to make lots of children happy. Leaflets are at the back of the church please take one. 50+ NETWORK Fri 18 Nov, Visit to Chatsworth A day trip by coach to see this splendid stately home and its special Christmas SHOEBOXES AT PICK & MIX decorations on the theme of Classic If you want to do a shoe box but you want Christmas Carols and 100 Christmas to make it interactive and have some fun, market stalls. The cost of travel and entry, come to the Pick and Mix service next excluding lunch (obtainable on site) is week. Also if you have stuff that can go in around £25 each – less if numbers are a shoe box but you don't have time to sufficient; £10 deposit required please. STUDENT MONEY MANAGEMENT 10.30-4pm, Sat 12 Nov, Church Centre A free interactive internet-linked full-day course designed specifically for full-time students by Christians Against Poverty, the national debt-counselling charity. You will need to bring a packed lunch, a laptop if you have one, and bank statements drinks will be provided. Limited spaces, so to book, sign up on the sheet in the church foyer asap. For more info contact the Breathe* team or Church Office. MISSISON IN SIERRA LEONE Can you support some of the poorest in the world by donating goods or money to a project in Sierra Leone? Mary Booth is going on a short term Mission Trip in Nov/ Dec to work with a drugs rehab project (something close to her heart.) A range of small items that the team can take out will bless the people and any small donations go towards the work with these vulnerable people. 6.45 LEADERSHIP COURSE 6.45am, Wed 2 Nov, Church Centre Are you up for the challenge? Are you already leading at home, work, church? Is God calling you to lead? Whether you have been leading for years or are wanting to explore what Christian leadership looks like and how we’re shaped by Christ, this is a great chance to do so.
