Social Media Classes Tip
Hootsuite Auto Scheduling Social media managing programs like Hootsuite are extremely valuable when it comes to saving time. Through Hootsuite, small business owners are able to get all of their social media interactions in one place, saving the time and hassle of having to bounce from platform to platform. Hootsuite continues to come up with new and innovative ways to make our lives easier, and in this Social Media Courses tip we’ll cover their latest; auto scheduling tweets. The Benefits of Auto Scheduling If you are a regular user of Hootsuite, you may have already seen the prompt asking you to try Hootsuite’s new AutoSchedule feature. Once you have typed your tweet, all you have to do is click “AutoSchedule on”, and it is as simple as that. Scheduling tweets has been a regular feature on Hootsuite for a long time. Users can click on the calendar icon and pick an exact date and time for their tweet to be sent out to the world.
This is an immensely helpful feature, but it can also be a time-consuming one. It is common to spend time worrying about how far to space two tweets that you want to send in one day out, or to accidentally schedule two tweets at or near the same time when you are in a rush. AutoSchedule fixes all of these common problems. You can auto schedule as many tweets as you like, and let the system take care of the rest. Hootsuite’s algorithm is also designed to send tweets out at optimal viewing times to take some of the guess work out of it for you. All auto scheduled tweets are visible right in the scheduler, so you can also go back and check to see where Hootsuite scheduled your tweets and make changes if you’d like. Nothing beats live tweeting, but not everyone has access to a computer all day. And scheduling exactly when your tweets go out is a great alternative, but sometimes there isn’t enough time to plan out a full day’s worth of tweets. If you know there are three or four tweets that you want sent out over the next day or two and you don’t want the headache of manually scheduling them or remembering to post them, auto schedule them! AutoSchedule is not a perfect feature yet; as Hootsuite receives feedback over the next few months, there will likely be modifications made to the algorithms and additional user settings. But used sparingly, this is a valuable and time-saving feature; and what small business owner doesn’t appreciate some time saved?
