Percentage of Hiring MBA Graduates to Rise High in 2013
Who said that the demand of MBA graduates is diminishing? In fact, the latest researches done by the Graduate Management Admission Council say that the year 2013 is going to witness a steady rise in the recruitment figures of individuals graduating as Masters in Business Administration. The number of graduates from various business masters programmes is also expected to rise high this year which is a pretty good news for all those who are planning to join MBA courses.

According to the Corporate Recruiters Survey 2013 conducted by a total of 935 employers on a global scale, about 75% of them have serious plans to recruit MBA graduates this year. It was 71% in the previous year which clearly shows that the demand of considering MBA graduates in big companies has gone higher this year. Moreover, the Asia-Pacific region has also witnessed a rise of 7%. The percentage of MBA graduates recruited by business organisations and companies was 54% last year that has rocketed to 61% this year. The intentions of the European
employment on the other hand will perhaps continue to remain strong and stable year after year.
From the industrial viewpoint, the sectors that are going to hire a good percentage of MBA graduates are those related to energy and utilities as well pharmaceutical and healthcare. There will be numerous companies under these sectors that will be aiming to recruit MBA holders to place them in various managerial positions.
Both the industries surprisingly witnessed an increase of almost 10% in their hiring intentions. 86% of the employers from the energy and utilities sector, and 89% from the healthcare and pharmaceutical sector have expressed positive opinions in hiring MBA graduates.
