RECRUIT & REGISTER EDUCATE & FUNDRAISE COMMUNICATE TURN IN MONEY HAVE FUN!!!!!


Recruit & Register • Build your team page in Kintera • Send out email blast encouraging everyone to join your team • Carry brochures with you for those that are not connected to email • Ask everyone you know to join your team


Educate Mission: To improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. •Educate yourself & your team •Tell YOUR story •Funds support arthritis research, education and advocacy efforts •Raise awareness - Myths


Fundraise #1 • Lead by example – send out your email or mail a letter • Organize a team fundraiser such as a car wash, bake sale, garage sale, raffle, etc • Make it fun, promote competition by giving your team something to work for (game tickets, movie tickets, family or office pizza party)


Fundraise #2 Help us reach our fundraising goals by encouraging your walkers to raise at least $100! _____________________________ If you recruit 10 walkers and each one raises $100‌that’s already $1,000 for towards your team goal!


Communicate & Turn In Money • Keep in constant communication with your team; update on your team progress & encourage to raise $ • Turn in money BEFORE walk day


Have Fun & Walk! • Bring your dogs (if your walk allows!!) • Wear your team t-shirt • Bring your own party to our walk party


Ask Your Staff… • If there are team awards at your location • About incentive prizes for those who raise $100 or more • About BANK DAY • To send you specifics on your day of role as Team Captain • For their creative fundraising ideas
