International Experience

STEFAN SAVOY MOTION x DESIGNER VISUAL

went to shigaraki, japan to work with a mentallyimpaired community and with children on collaborative projects. I practiced the language, and became better acquainted with the traditional art of Japanese pottery.

M.L.K Symposium / Motion Designer

Ann Arbor, MI | Jan. 11 2019 - Jan. 20 2019 | 1.5 weeks

+ spearheaded motion design and visual development for a video that would introduce the university of michigan’s m.l.k symposium - visualizing its mission and setting the tone for important speakers to come. + utilized various techniques, including: 3d cloth simulation,vector animation, and animated text. + worked with a multidisciplinary team in communication with a team at the office of academic multicultural initiatives to meet the client’s expectation and deliver a professional 3:20 video made in the span of one-week. SIFT DESIGN / Designer Ann Arbor, MI | Sept. 2015 - Apr 2016 | 8 mos.

+ spearheaded the development of a sustainable, consistent creative process for prototyping the physical, sonic, and structural properties of 15-foot paper structures, resulting in approval for the mass production of over 100 sculptures. + collaborated with composer and architect ashley and adam fure to accomodate for the design constraints of live performance in new york and darmstadt germany.

+ student-taught for the detroit-area pre-college engineering program, instructing 3d modeling and animation with blender. after demonstrating proficiency in the material and providing a robust, exciting changes to the curriculum, I was promoted to being a full-time teacher. + worked through stressful resource deficiencies, such as lack of internet access and budget, however still managed to provide an enhanced s.t.e.a.m. education to hundreds of under-represented, low-income students. http://www.dapcep.org/
