Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut Region

Austria … is a beautiful little country. Which hurts a little bit because we used to be much bigger in times of the Austrian-Hungarian monarchy. But even though we lost the emperor, his mustache and Hungary - Austria and especially the beautiful Salzkammergut Region around Salzburg still is home to Yodeling, Dirndl, Lederhosen, Wiener Schnitzel and the Sound of Music but contrary to popular belief no kangaroos… Sorry. We would like to have some of those fluffy animals, but instead we have those… and that’s fine.


Capital: Vienna The world capital of politeness. They even scare us Austrians sometimes with their politeness.

Who is a CEEDer?

The Cultural Envoy Exchange Development program is an internal exchange program between two Entities within AIESEC. The program sends members from one LC in an Entity to work in an international LC for the purpose of best practice sharing, partnership development, member development, and cultural exchange. The program serves as an excellent way to give members an incredible international AIESEC experience while allowing the LC to develop partnerships with strategic countries


Organizational Understanding For any CEED-role you need to have a deep understanding of the purpose and the context of the organization as well as the way the functional areas work together in order to achieve the same goal.

Team Management Experience You will have to show and prove your capacity to lead, coach and guide the members of AIESEC in Salzburg.

Product Understanding You need to be able to spot and evaluate our different stakeholders’ needs in order to be able to choose the right market segments we should focus our operations on. You need to be able to develop new products/processes and constantly improve the current ones.

Previous Experience It is highly required to have had an EB-experience or above in the PRM area or working experience in marketing.

AIESEC in Salzburg

AIESEC in Salzburg was founded in 2007, in the previous terms we had about 15-20 members. We are focussing on the iGIP area, however there is at lot of market potential for outgoing GCDP as the biggest university of the City has a lot of humanities- and education-students and a smaller university might grant ECTS-credits for voluntary internships abroad. This is why the entity is demanding for external support, experience and a hands-on approach in the field of marketing. However, we already have knowledge about the local market as there is an experienced member in the PRM-team. Also, the PRM team will be a very important support and fully participating in our Youth Talent Recruitment in October.


As CEEDer in our Public Relations & Marketing area you will be responsible for leading the team with 3 members in all marketing-relevant affairs including market research and promotion for our oGCDP winter peak. As the leader of the marketing team you will be responsible to represent the area in the local executive board and to work together with the VPs of the other areas in marketing related issues.

Also, you will have the authority to represent the local entity in university- and public relations. Most important tasks: - Structure and organization of Global Citizenpromotion with regard to long term CI-strategies - Youth Talent Recruitment in collaboration with VP Talent Management

Project Management is a lot about solution-oriented team management of course. You need to be able to evaluate, lead and develop new processes in terms of logistics or guided teamwork and you need to constantly improve the current ones. As part of your CEED-role, you are the one in charge to set goals, what progress has to be achieved by when as well as having the overview of this progress, the timeline and communication related to the project.

AIESEC in Salzburg

AIESEC in Salzburg was founded in 2007, in the previous terms we had about 15-20 members. We have been focussing on the iGIP area ever since. This term, however, we are planning to organize an iGCDP project in February 2016 to increase our exchange performance. This is why the entity is demanding for external support, experience and a hands-on approach in the field of Incoming GCDP. However, we have knowledge about organizing iGCDP projects and there will be a team of 3 members working on it.


As CEEDer in our iGCDP area you will be responsible for leading this team with 3 members in organizing the February-project. As the leader of the iGCDP team you will be responsible to represent the area and the project when working together with other functional areas like Marketing, iGIP or Finance when it comes to the planning and financial sustainability of the project.

Job Description

You will be supervised and supported by the president, who has experience in iGCDP. Most important tasks: - Evaluate and track the progress of the project and the member experience as there is no VP iGCDP - Planning and organizing the project and its timeline
