Following requests from parent and children, next term we will be encouraging the nursery children to wear a school jumper or polo shirt to help them feel part of the school. These items can be purchased from the school office. Please note that the uniform is NOT compulsory. I am delighted to inform you that the hot meals served at the school will be available from September to nursery children. Hot meals will be served from 12 noon and will be bought over to the nursery by staff. The children will eat at their usual tables. If you require hot meals you will need to visit the school office to get a Parent Pay log in. Once you have been assigned a login you can upload money onto your account and we will debit £2.40 for each meal your child has. You need to tell the nursery staff on arrival each day if your child will be having a hot meal or a packed lunch. You will be given the opportunity to select a meal choice from the menu for your child. Please note that the menus are available from the home page of the school website. If you have any questions regarding school meals please speak to Laura Gibbs at the school office. We will also be offering extended hours from September in line with the new school extended hours. The nursery will have extended sessions from 8am- 9am and 3pm – 4.30pm each day at a cost of the normal hourly nursery rate of £4 per hour. These sessions must be booked and paid for at least one week in advance and are non structured sessions. The booking form is attached and is available from the nursery staff or school office. Please hand in to the school office where places will be allocated. As places will be limited by adult and child ratios we will inform you if we have NOT been able to allocate a place for your child. I hope that these changes will be useful to families with busy lives! Many thanks Becky Ellers Headteacher
