Creating Collaborative eLearning Environments From Ideation to Ecology

Abstract: This session will focus on building constructivist eLearning communities through open source eLearning systems.

In this session we will: Glance at the Enterprise collaborative eLearning environments Mahara Sakai, and Conuence and open source mash- ups using TeamBox for Collaborative Project Management, Tumblr and Endnote for mobile learning. Discuss how to set up student driven CLE's in your classrooms, schools, and communities for project based eLearning. Have ample sandbox time with your choice of TeamBox, Mahara, Sakai, and Conuence instances. See what's on the horizon for Project Based eLearning and CLE's.
