“Their joy was so great that they still could not believe it, and they stood there dumbfounded; so He said to them, ‘Have you anything here to eat?’ And they offered Him a piece of grilled fish, which he took and ate before their eyes.”
ear Parish Family,
Thank you for an overwhelming beautiful Easter! This was certainly an Alleluia Celebration! And when all was said and done we went right into the Sacrament of Confirmation with Bishop Roger, OSB. And a wonderful 8th grade class eager to receive the Holy Spirit! We are grateful that Deacon Tom is doing better—it was our loss not to have him with us throughout Holy Week and Easter! It was also difficult without Sara (as Baby Anthony needed her attention) but many hands came together to make our Celebration an ALLELUIA! This is the first bulletin that did not have to be in print ahead of schedule so this THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU is a bit tardy but sincere all the more! I am so proud of our 8th graders and members of our younger staff (Sabrina & Thomas) who assisted with Good Friday and well beyond that as well. Our Music Ministry was terrific as usual and once again gained the compliments of Bishop Roger. Our Sacristans under Renate Elber were detailed with every liturgy and I want to also thank Kathy Plumb, Sabrina, and Bernice Rocheck for serving the dinner for Bishop Roger and our staff. (A wonderful dinner catered by European’s Best)
These have been busy days but resplendent in the grace of the Lord Jesus, Risen and Present among us. I am just so grateful for all of you—your spirituality, your reverence, your prayers, your witness of Faith! We are, as Bishop Roger mentioned, ‘a wonderful Parish in the Diocese of Cleveland’! There is much to come yet….next week we will include pictures of Confirmation. Remember that Easter lasts 50 days—we are just in the midst of the Celebration! Christ is Risen! He is Risen, Indeed! May your week be blessed ….may Spring finally and really arrive and may you know the Goodness of God and blessings He has for each of you!
Peace be with you! Fr. Krizner, The Lily and Gracie!
