Dear Parents and Caregivers, In Business Management this year, students are studying Operations Management. A tour of the Yakult Factory will provide students with an opportunity to witness first-hand the Operations Process in a world class manufacturing environment. Date:

Students to bring a packed lunch and water (there is no lunch facilities available).
Students will leave class at 10.00am to leave St Bernard’s College by 10.15am (meet at the COLA) to arrive at Dandenong by 11.30am. The tour will go for an hour, and they need to be back on the bus by no later than 12.40pm. They should (traffic depending) arrive back at St Bernard’s College in time for them to attend their Period 6 class.
Students are permitted to bring their phones, but during the tour, Yakult employees will determine how these are used. In the past, they have limited photography to the room, not the tour.
If your son is taking regular medication we ask that it be handed to Mrs Leeanne Smith on the morning of the excursion so that it can be stored with the medical supplies. All medication must be administered by a staff member. Please ensure you give permission to administer medication via mySBC.
Please ensure your child’s dietary requirements are up to date on their mySBC profile.
Students are required to follow all College rules whilst attending this Excursion. They will be in Full School Winter Uniform.
