Dear Parents and Caregivers, RE: Maribyrnong River Walk As part of our Year 10 Health and Physical Education and Year 11 Outdoor and Environmental Studies class, your son has been invited to participate in a walk around the Maribyrnong River on Wednesday, 21 August. During our practical classes this term we will be focusing on practical activities that promote lifelong fitness and movement, specifically focused in natural outdoor environments. Date:

St Bernard’s College 41 Rosehill Rd, Essendon Walk along the Maribyrnong River trail to Ascot Street swing bridge.
Mobile Phones: Students are permitted to bring their phone for essential communication, photography and audio/video recordings relating to our field studies. It is expected they will use these respectfully and maturely. Medication:
If your son is taking regular medication we ask that it be handed to Miss Lori Carroll, Ms Eleni Glouftsis or Mr Ben Wilson on the morning of excursion so that it can be stored with the medical supplies. Please note that all medication must be administered by a staff member. Please ensure you give permission to administer medication via MySBC.
Please ensure your child’s dietary requirements are up to date on their MySBC profile.
Students are required to follow all College rules whilst attending this excursion.
