Dear Parents / Caregivers, RE: Year 7 Retreat The Year 7 Retreat is an interactive experience designed to complement the Religious Education and Pastoral programs at the College. Retreats enable students to connect with the Catholic Christian understanding of what it means to be fully human. The Year 7 Retreat introduces students to the “five narratives” that inform the culture and identity of the College. Dates:

10.35 am – 2.55 pm Year 7 students will have classes periods 1 & 2 on the day of their Retreat.
The Michael Perrett Pavilion, St Bernard’s College and walk to Lily Street Reserve via Buckley Street underpass.
Recess snack and lunch provided.
Mobile Phones: Students are permitted to bring their phone for essential communication, photography and audio/video recordings relating to our field studies. It is expected they will use these respectfully and maturely. Medication:
If your son is taking regular medication we ask that it be handed to his homeroom teacher on the morning of the Retreat so that it can be stored with the medical supplies. Please note that all medication must be administered by a staff member.
Please ensure your child’s dietary requirements are up to date on their MySBC profile.
Students are required to follow all College rules whilst attending this incursion.
What to bring:
Refillable water bottle, sunhat, rain jacket, and sunscreen
