Dear Parents and Caregivers, RE: Respectful Relationship Student Forum #2 As a lead school in the implementation of the Respectful Relationships program, students have been invited to learn and collaborate on a number of activities and lessons on topics such as emotional resilience, emotional literacy, issues facing young people today and equality. Your son has been selected for his leadership skills in these areas and has been asked to represent St Bernard’s College at a forum featuring students from other schools in the area taking part in the program. Time:

9.00 am – 2.00 pm

Venue:

Buckley Park College, Essendon

Transport:

College bus to and from Buckley Park College

Meals:

BYO Lunch (morning tea is provided)

Mobile Phones: Students are permitted to bring their phone for essential communication, photography and audio/video recordings relating to our field studies. It is expected they will use these respectfully and maturely. Medication:

If your son is taking regular medication we ask that it be handed to Mr Ryan Leahy on the morning of excursion so that it can be stored with the medical supplies. Please note that all medication must be administered by a staff member. Please ensure you give permission to administer medication via MySBC.

Dietary Needs:

Please ensure your child’s dietary requirements are up to date on their MySBC profile.

Expectations:

Students are required to follow all College rules whilst attending this excursion.

What to bring:

Lunch and a water bottle.
