As the winter flurries of snow die down, I am pleased to say that spring shoots are starting to show in the property market. Since the beginning of the year we have seen a steady but certain, week by week increase in activity levels in our offices across the area. There has been pressure on house prices in well located positions and sales are encouraging with levels over a third up on last year. Whilst we are unlikely to see a return to a fast moving market in the near future, purchasers are buying with the confidence that their new asset is unlikely to fall in value. As we move into spring, these green shoots will increase, crocuses and daffodils will follow and this estate agent remains significantly

Cliveden gets ready to rock! The spectacular annual event, Cliveden Rocks, returns this year on Saturday July 31st and Sunday August 1st, with high profile bands providing the music and magic in the National Trust grounds. This is the fourth year that Cliveden has hosted the programme, and the third successive year that we have been the main sponsor. The fabulous tribute act Queen B makes a return visit, joined by the Utter Madness tribute band, as well as Boogie Brothers playing the best of American 60’s soul R&B as in the Blues Brothers’ movie. Last but not least are The Tremeloes, a popular 60’s band, with some of their original members still strutting their stuff! An explosive fireworks display will round off the event on both nights.
