Jannati@Wilayah Persekutuan programme to repair and refurbish the homes of 10 disadvantaged families. â€˘Baiti Jannati provides low-income families in Projek Perumahan Rakyat and Perumahan Awam Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur with better living standards by refurbishing their homes with necessary living essentials and assist in settling the housing repayment loans of selected families.

Mah Sing’s Penang Team Aiding Flood Relief Effort in Bukit Mertajam, Penang •25 volunteers of Mah Sing’s Penang team and a group of volunteers distribute flood relief items in Bukit Mertajam which was badly affected by the recent Penang flood. The Mah Sing team spent a whole day packing gloves, pails, mops, cleaning hoses, brooms, cleaning detergents, garbage bags and also household items such as mattresses, pillows, bedsheets and blankets. They visited house-to-house with a lorry in tow to distribute the bulkier items like mattresses, pillows bedsheets and blankets. •To date in December 2017, Mah Sing Foundation has donated a total of close to RM300,000 from it’s RM500,000 pledge to aid the flood victims.
Penang Flood Relief Efforts
Mah Sing Foundation has supported numerous education centric causes to help children. •Contributed RM1mil to Yayasan Pendidikan Tzu Chi Malaysia which will
be used to develop the Tzu Chi International School in Kuala Lumpur. •Contributed RM99,250 to Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, a non-profit
organisation that helps under-served children from a low-income community in Selayang. •Contributed RM96,000 in financial assistance to 80 students from SJK
(C) Sam Yoke, of which 49 are special needs students. SJK (C) Sam Yoke is one of only 2 Chinese primary schools in Kuala Lumpur that caters to special needs children and has specialised facilities to aid their learning experience. The Foundation also donated RM30,000 to The Star newspaper’s Newspaper-in-Education programme called ”Step Up”.

photography opportunities was well received by the public. •The weekend exhibition has garnered more than 42,000 registrants beginning from 19 November to 24 December. purchasers with a ready contact point for any clarification that arises after their purchase. •Members can enjoy soft benefits such as a discount and privileges from

Emphasis on Good Customer Service A one-stop hotline centre has been set up with a centralised feedback system to manage customerâ€™s feedback more efficiently and systematically. The system is continuously enhanced to improve the quality of our customer service. We also conduct customer satisfaction surveys to understand customerâ€™s feedback to our product, services, timeliness and quality of customer service. The Group believes that providing good customer service will continue to strengthen Mah Sing record as a premium lifestyle developer and one of the most trusted developers in the nation.

Staff Engagement Activities Mah Sing believes that an effective workforce is essential to the success of an organization. Effective human resource strategies have been initiated to promote open communication & transparency, harmony amongst all employees and respect for individuals. In 2017, Mah Sing received 2 HR Awards for its relentless effort in advancing the HR sphere, including developing talent, advocating best HR practices and trailblazing new HR initiatives.
Staff Recognition and Welfare Mah Sing also emphasize on staff recognition and welfare. The Group utilises a “Valuing Performance (VP)” performance management system which aligns employees’ goals and the organization’s own goals, and rewards to performance. In demonstrating the Company’s appreciation to staff, the Long Service Awards are conferred to longserving employees during the Group’s Annual Dinner for their endless dedication and contribution.
Work-Life Balance Mah Sing greatly encourages a good work-life balance. In line with the Group’s tagline ‘Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life.’ the Group renovated its headquarters in Wisma Mah Sing, now known as MS@Work. The out of a box HQ concept aims to create a modern environment to enhance and encourage
conducive environment for its employees The new headquarters feature various modern layouts that appeal to millennials such as open space concept, fun meeting rooms, collaborative breakout areas, colourful pantries, a gym and karaoke room.
