PASTORAL AREA INITIATIVE A Journey into Freedom - Where do we go from here? For those interested in the next step of the course, there will be a meeting in St. Malachy's Parish Centre (committee room) on Monday 2nd December at 7.30pm – a gentle guide through the general format of a Parish Cell Group meeting and the wide support system which exists throughout the Cell community. Our friends from Carrickfergus will return to share their experience with us. Refreshments will be served. CHARITY COFFEE EVENT You are all invited to a Coffee Day at Cul-Erg B&B, 9 Hillside, Atlantic Circle from 10.30am-4.30pm on Saturday 7th December. Proceeds in aid of local research led by Cancer Focus. Please come and support us. PRECIOUS LIFE A candle-light Rosary Procession will take place in Derry on Sunday 8th December, assembling in Guildhall Square at 4.30pm, and proceed through the streets behind the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe for Ireland led by the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. SVP SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTMAS LUNCH

This year’s Christmas Lunch will be held in Portstewart Golf Club on Monday 9th December at 12.30pm. Please put your name on the list at the back of the Church before Wednesday 4th December. MILL STRAND INTEGRATED SCHOOL Would like to extend a warm welcome to parents, relatives and friends of the school as well as members of the wider community to join us for our annual Carol Service at Holy Trinity Church of Ireland, Portrush on Tuesday 10th December at 10.30am. PRAYER FOR PEOPLE AFFECTED BY ADDICTION Last May we had prayer and reflection for healing for those affected by clerical child sexual abuse. On Wednesday 11th December in Star of the Sea at 7.30pm we will focus on and pray about addiction. Through music, scripture, prayer, action and listening to short reflections it is hoped that participants will experience some hope and healing. CHORAL EVENING WITH CANTEMUS Cantemus will be performing in Star of the Sea on Friday 13th December at 7.30pm followed by tea and mince pies in the Parish Hall. Tickets: £7.50 (£5 concessions) available from the Repository. ADVENT DAY OF REFLECTION AT TOBAR MHUIRE – Saturday 14th December. “You will Call Him Immanuel–a Name which means God with Us” The day will be led by Sean Goan, Faith Development Officer of Le Chéile Trust. Using his unique style that combines scholarship and storytelling, Sean will focus on Matthew’s account of the Nativity and help us to focus on Matthew’s gospel for the coming year. This day is open for all, but is particularly recommended for clergy and for Ministers of the Word. Cost: £25, which includes tea/coffee and a light lunch.
