GINA EDWARDS A native New Yorker, Gina Edwards discovered her passion for nails during her studies as a psychology major. To help pay for college expenses, she went to nail school and worked in a salon part time. Her eye for detail and charming personality shone, and as her clientele grew, so did her desire to advance into other areas of the nail industry. Gina has left her finishing touch on many celebrity clients' perfectly manicured hands. Today, she continues to work and co-create with seasoned photographers and stylists. Her energy and passion for her work and easy going personality have helped her forge relationships with various artists in the fashion and entertainment industry.

ANA-MARIA GHEORGHIU Ana Maria’s artistry of the perfect manicure started long before her completion of a law degree in her home country of Romania. AnaMaria likes to say she “grew up in a salon” alongside her mother, aunt and two cousins. When she decided to come to America it was with the intention of continuing to study law for three more years. However, her talents took her in another direction, which was giving modern manicures for top fashion magazines, renowned photographers and a host of celebrities from Mariah Carey to Claire Danes.

Recently, Ana-Maria fulfilled another dream when she opened her own full service salon in New York, Onyx Salon & Spa. When Ana-Maria isn’t at her posh salon or at a magazine shoot she finds time to travel, play tennis and volley ball!

MICHINA KOIDE Michina Koide was born and raised in Nagoya City, Japan. In 1998, she moved to Tokyo where she enrolled at the prestigious Kinoshita Mihori makeup and nail school to further develop her passion for becoming a nail artist. After graduating, Michina applied her knowledge on various editorial and test shoots in Tokyo and in 2001 decided to move to New York City to pursue her career. Within a couple years, Michina had developed a solid portfolio and established a reputation as one of the leading nail artists in the industry.

Michina’s work regularly appears in top magazines around the world, including, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and American Vogue; Harper’s Bazaar, W, V, Glamour, Numero and ID.

MICHELLE SAUNDERS Michelle Saunders is an LA-based manicurist highly sought after by highfashion magazines and A-list entertainers alike: from Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle, to celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Kate Beckinsale and Eva Longoria. Michelle began her training in her hometown of San Francisco. She developed a gentle and thorough approach to manicuring, refining her technique and ultimately ended up opening her own, successful, appointment-only nail salon. After 10 years of manicuring in San Francisco, Michelle headed to Los Angeles and that’s when her career took off. Her work can currently be seen in magazines, billboards, television commercials, movies and on the red carpet.

DAWN STERLING Born and based in New York City, Dawn Sterling only recently exploded upon the fashion editorial scene. Almost immediately she has become a highly sought after artist, respected for her talent and speed of execution.

Sterling has worked with an impressive list of fashion and beauty photographers including, Catherine Servel, Alexei Hay, Matt Irwin, Patrick Shaw, and Yelena Yemchuk. Her editorial credits include: V, V Man, Vs, W, W Korea, Vogue Korea, Glamour, French Glamour, and Italian Vanity. Dawn's career has also lead her to shoot with many of today’s top models. Today, she is regarded amongst her peers as belonging to the next generation of up and coming manicurists.
