We know that students naturally learn best

when they make connections across subjects and when learning is meaningful to them. We have developed a program rooted in rich topics that allow for deep exploration. We build the skills and cultivate the strategies we know students will need in the 21st century by developing in each child the drive to ask questions, to understand topics in depth and to make connections among subject topics. Students learn that in order to have a strong voice in the world, they must communicate clearly and base ideas on sound reasoning, careful research and accurate calculation. Our approach ignites students’ interests and helps them understand connections among world systems as they build the fundamental skills, problem-solving skills and abstract-reasoning skills required for success in the 21st century.
