Headmaster’s Welcome Dear Guests, It is a pleasure for me to welcome you to “SAC International Stars” — the 42nd Annual Red & White Gala Dinner Dance and Auction sponsored by the St. Andrew’s College Parents Guild. This muchanticipated event is one of the highlights of the School year and brings together SAC parents, faculty, staff, Old Boys, and friends for a special evening of celebration. Last year’s gala was a huge success, with funds raised in support of scholarships and the Not An Ordinary Place (NAOP) capital campaign. Proceeds will continue to combine toward helping us improve facilities at the School. It has been one year since building commenced on the construction of new and improved facilities. In a few short months we will celebrate the opening of the La Brier Family Arena, and in 2015 we will have new academic facilities in support of music, drama, engineering and robotics, business leadership and food services. This period of growth is unprecedented in the School’s history, and your ongoing support is helping to make it possible. The organizing committee for this year’s gala has outdone itself once again. We are very grateful for the dedication of Gala Chair, Lenore Collis, and Vice-Chair, Bianca Harris, who, along with their hard-working committee, spent months planning this special night. The list of live and silent auctions is truly exceptional, and the use of hand-held bidding devices again this year is sure to make your auction experience even more exciting. If this is your first Red & White, I am certain you will enjoy the camaraderie and the wonderful spirit of the Andrean community. Whether you are new to St. Andrew’s or a seasoned veteran, I think you will all agree, St. Andrew’s College is certainly ‘not an ordinary place.’ Enjoy the evening!

Message from the Gala Chairs Dear Friends, We are delighted to welcome you to the 42nd Annual St. Andrew’s College “International Stars” Red & White Gala. This annual event continues to bring the Andrean community together to celebrate and support the Parents Guild in its fundraising goals. The proceeds from this evening will benefit our students through scholarships, bursaries, and a significant contribution to the Not An Ordinary Place campaign. As we celebrate the diversity of our school tonight, we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of all the volunteers, sponsors, and donors who support St. Andrew’s College. The planning of this evening started many months ago with a group of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers. We are deeply grateful to each and every member of our committee as we could not have done this without all of you. This gala is not only a fundraiser but also a friend-raiser! We also want to thank the many staff and faculty members without whom this event could not happen. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all the corporations, sponsors, and donors who contributed to the evening. With your support we will be able to watch our boys continue to grow and prosper around the world with their numerous talents. To all our guests, thank you for joining us tonight as we celebrate this treasured Parents Guild tradition. It has been an honour to be a part of this legacy. Whether you live near or far, we will always be connected through SAC’s “International Stars.” Lenore Collis & Bianca Harris
