“In AS Physics this year, we did some of the most interesting experiments I’ve ever done in my life. We explored the physical properties of rubber bands, and built a ‘bungee cord’ using meticulous calculations. It was able to deliver a 100-gram force sensor from the second floor to millimeters above the ground. It was a ton of fun.”

“When you’re on a sports team at St. Andrew’s, you know your teammates and coaches have your back. That’s given me not only confidence in sports, but confidence in life—to be bold, and take more risks.”

“Robotics is great. Every day we show up with ideas that we came up with the night before, ready to better the current version of our robot. We spent a lot of our free time this semester in the lab—time we could have otherwise used hanging out with friends on the Front Lawn—but it was all worth it when our programming made the robot move for the first time. It’s such a great feeling to create something of your own.”
