WHY ST. RICHARD’S SUMMER CAMP!
St. Richard’s summer camp is the place to be during the summer! The goal of SRES summer camp is to provide opportunities for children to try new activities, socialize, learn and practice skills, and have fun. Our summer camp program reflects the school’s values by designing weeklong camps rooted in learning. We also recognize that summer is a time for children to relax and explore new adventures. We value the individual interests of each child, allowing each camper the opportunity to experience success. Weekly sessions provide children with enriching activities and give you peace of mind that their summer will be spent in a nurturing and safe environment. Our trained summer administrative staff designs all activities and field trips with your camper in mind.
Please keep in mind that many of our camps have minimum and maximum enrollment numbers. Enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis and cannot be reserved without a completed camp enrollment form and enrollment deposit. In the event that a camp reaches maximum capacity, your child will be placed on a waiting list. Enrollment for all camps closes one week prior to the start of camp. Although we will do our best to accommodate everyone, space cannot be guaranteed. Checks made out to St. Richard’s Episcopal School should be mailed to St. Richard’s Summer Camp at 33 E. 33rd Street Indianapolis, IN 46205. Enrollment forms and pricing information are available at www.sresdragons.org
A Closer Look‌ OUR MINI DRAGON PROGRAM We are ready for another great summer with our Mini Dragon Day campers! Our Early Childhood camp features a specially designed program geared towards younger children. We bring an academic focus into our traditional day camp activities by incorporating learning into our games, crafts, and other daily activities. Each week will have a unique theme filled to the brim with fun! Some of our themes this summer include Summer Blast Off, Little Chefs, and Down On the Farm. Based on the weeks theme, campers will participate in an array of developmentally appropriate and fun activities focusing on evolving their life skills. We pack the week with special activities to teach us about our theme as well as a weekly theme based field trip. Our unique blend of arts, sports, academics and cultural enrichments makes for a one of a kind summer experience that your child won’t want to miss!
The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, only three blocks south of SRES, is a convenient and popular resource for all grades. Through the museum’s School Membership program, St. Richard’s campers can visit the museum on an unlimited basis and take advantage of its worldwide educational resources.
The Riviera Club is home to SRES campers swimming lessons, Junior Kindergarten (age 4) and up. Their team of aquatic instructors will be working with our campers to help develop strong, confident swimmers. Additionally, there will be time to explore the outdoor water playground with five pools and 1.2 million gallons of water.
