TODAY’S SPECIAL EVENTS

MARCH 24, 2013

The following is a list of events occuring today at St. Luke’s. For other events and upcoming information, pick up a COMMUNION MONTHLY, available at the end of the pews and at the Information Desk in the Narthex.

Outreach of the Month Our March Outreach of the Month is Habitat for Humanity of Hamilton County. St. Luke’s has made a commitment to take on the expense of a home for the Davis family. You still have a chance to leave your mark on their home. We have the OSB boards in the West Passage that will be used to build their home -- leave your handprint or a written message. You may also make a donation and place it in the offering (payable to St. Luke’s with “Habitat” on the memo line) or at www.stlukesumc.com. For more info, contact Todd Hockemeyer at tmhockemeyer@gmail.com.

Stations of the Cross Experience the 14 Stations of the Cross, representing the path that Jesus walked on his journey to the cross. NEWS YOU CAN USE Easter Hospitality Easter is our highest attended worship service of the year, and as we learned at our recent Hospitality Workshop, every one of us is an ambassador for our church. Help us make our many guests feel welcome by taking some extra hospitality steps. 1) Make sure there are plenty of parking spaces available by taking the free shuttle from Springmill Elementary (8250 Springmill Rd.). Park your car at the school and get dropped off/picked up at the main doors to the church. Shuttle runs 7AM-1PM. 2) When finding seats in the Sanctuary, please make friends with the person sitting in the pew with you by decreasing your personal space and skootching a tad closer so that we can accommodate as many people as

comfortably (and safely) possible in the Sanctuary. 3) Please do not save seats for others who have not yet arrived, or set up any folding chairs on your own. Our ushers can assist you with any seating issues. 4) Know that you may also participate in the service in Robertson Chapel at 9:30 and 11:00. It will be linked via video to the Sanctuary, there will be live music, and clergy will be present. Thank you in advance for making Easter a joyful day for all who worship with us.
