The 9Power Secrets of FB Ads Introduction Facebook (FB) is fast becoming one of the most effective places to build an email list for your online marketing business. Yet, many people complain that they’ve tried FB advertising and it “doesn’t work”. The simple fact is FB advertising DOES work, but you must use it in a certain way. Use it wrong and you’re doomed. Use it right, and you’ll be getting TONS of laser-targeted traffic VERY CHEAPLY. FB advertising requires an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT mindset from that of search advertising. As Perry Marshall said, “people actively searching on Google are like people flipping through the Yellow Pages, while people browsing Facebook are like people visiting a coffee shop.” Make no mistake – A very successful ad on Google Adwords will probably FLOP miserably using Facebook Ads. The 9 Power Secrets I’m about to show you are the keys to using FB Ads in the correct way. First off though, know this: NEVER go for the sale in FB! Your goal in FB advertising is to BUILD YOUR EMAIL LIST!!

The 9Power Secrets of FB Ads Secret 1 – The Ad Image Your FB ad picture IS YOUR MOST IMPORTANT ASSET in this process!!! Don’t even think of running an ad without an image. More importantly, your image must KNOCK your prospect off of their chair. It must pull your prospect away from what they’re doing and look at the picture. DO NOT skimp on your image!

TIP - Do NOT use text within your pic for your FB AD! Here’s why: The maximum image size is 110 pixels wide by 80 pixels tall, so any text in images that are shrunk down to that size may be hard to read. If I were to create a FB ad for a landing page designed to capture leads interested in FB Ads, I might use a picture like this: Note: I bought this pic from istock photo. It grabs your attention doesn’t it?

The 9Power Secrets of FB Ads Secret 2 – The Ad Headline The second most important part of your ad is the headline. For your headline, do one thing and one thing only: Ask a Question. Ask a question your prospects are asking themselves about your topic and really want to have answered. Be aware that you have just 25 characters to do so. People need to have questions answered. If you open a loop within their brains and don’t close it within the ad, they NEED to click on your ad in order to get the question answered. ********************************************
