With his wide grin and handsome face, Naga Chaitanya sure grabs attention wherever he goes. The young star is the scion of the respected Akkineni family, but he has not let that tag weigh him GRZQRULQĂ&#x20AC;XHQFHKLVFKRLFHV+DYLQJHQWHUHGWLQVHOWRZQDERXW three years ago with much â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Joshâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;, his debut created as much of DPDJLFDVGLGKLVVHFRQGÂżOP<H0DD\D&KHVDYH WKH7HOXJX version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa). The success of 100 % Love was followed by two duds - Dhada and Bezawada. Yet, this has not deterred Chaitanya, who takes success and failure in his stride, gearing up for his next project Autonagar Surya (AS), directed by Devakatta of Vennela and Prasthanam fame. His excitement is palpable, as he talks about Autonagar Surya at the IDPHG$QQDSXUQD6WXGLRVÂł7KHÂżOPLVDERXWSHUFHQWGRQH,KDG seen Prasthanam and had met Deva casually. A year later he narrated the script. Even before the narration, I was almost convinced and once it was read to me, I decided that I had to do it. Speaking of the role itself, the actor tells us that AS portrays the journey of â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;the character I play from a 15-year ROGWR\HDUVœ³,DPDQRUSKDQZKRLVÂżJKWLQJKLVZD\WKURXJK Deva wanted me to play both the 15-year old and the 25-year-old. Thatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s what excited me.â&#x20AC;? Chaitanya will start the shoot of the bi-lingual Gauravam directed by 5DGKDPRKDQVKRUWO\7KLV7DPLO7HOXJXÂżOPLVDWKULOOHUVHWDJDLQVW a village backdrop. â&#x20AC;&#x153;There has been a delay because Annapurna 6WXGLRVKDVWLHGXSZLWK879DQGKDVQRWSURGXFHGD7DPLOÂżOP so far. The audience in Tamil is open to different cinema. Content is important there. Radhamohan is the right person. He tries out something new each time.
