â€˜iâ€™m not the reason for delaysâ€™: STR STR is back in the hunt after a couple of months off in the United States, where he was caught up with technicians and musicians for his music album, the Love Anthem. â€œYes I am back,â€? STR says and adds: â€œI will now start working on Poda Podi, Vettai Mannan and Vada Chennai.â€? Giving VSHFLÂżFGHWDLOVKHVD\VÂł7KHHQWLUHWDONLHSRUWLRQRI3RGD3RGLLVRYHUDQG we will soon shoot for songs. Also, I am leaving for Brazil to shoot for my other venture Vettai Mannan,â€? he adds. On Vada Chennai with Vetrimaaran, he says, â€œI am happy to be associated with the National Award-winning director for Vada Chennai. I will start working on it after completing Poda Podi and Vettai Mannan.â€? He further says, â€œI am not the reason behind the GLVUXSWLRQFDXVHGWRWKHVKRRWLQJVFKHGXOHVRIP\ÂżOPV7KHZKROHLQGXVWU\ was suffering for more than a month due to the strike and only during that time I went to the US for my music album.â€?
Vetrimaaran gets Cloud Nine again With STRâ€™s return from USA on February 19, the shooting of Vetrimaaranâ€™s 9DGD&KHQQDLLVDOOVHWWRJRRQWKHĂ€RRUV:KLOHWKLVÂżOPLVSURGXFHG by Durai Dhayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Movies, the director has managed to pull STR in for his other project as well. Vetrimaaran has recently launched his production house â€“ Grass Root Productions, with NH 45 that marks the directorial debut of his long-time associate Manikandan. An interesting fact is that Vetrimaaran had planned to make his own debut through this movie, but was stalled due to various reasons.
