‘i’m not the reason for delays’: STR STR is back in the hunt after a couple of months off in the United States, where he was caught up with technicians and musicians for his music album, the Love Anthem. “Yes I am back,â€? Also, I am leaving for Brazil to shoot for my other venture Vettai Mannan,â€? he adds. On Vada Chennai with Vetrimaaran, he says, “I am happy to be associated with the National Award-winning director for Vada Chennai. I will start working on it after completing Poda Podi and Vettai Mannan.â€? He further says, “I am not the reason behind the GLVUXSWLRQFDXVHGWRWKHVKRRWLQJVFKHGXOHVRIP\ÂżOPV7KHZKROHLQGXVWU\ was suffering for more than a month due to the strike and only during that time I went to the US for my music album.â€?

Vetrimaaran gets Cloud Nine again With STR’s return from USA on February 19, the shooting of Vetrimaaran’s 9DGD&KHQQDLLVDOOVHWWRJRRQWKHÀRRUV:KLOHWKLV¿OPLVSURGXFHG by Durai Dhayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Movies, the director has managed to pull STR in for his other project as well. Vetrimaaran has recently launched his production house – Grass Root Productions, with NH 45 that marks the directorial debut of his long-time associate Manikandan. An interesting fact is that Vetrimaaran had planned to make his own debut through this movie, but was stalled due to various reasons.
