Temperature Test Cycles Temperature cycle: set the temperature at -50 ° C and keep for 4 hours, next raise to + 90 ° C and keep for 4 hours, and then decrease to -50 ° C for N cycles sequentially. Industrial temperature standard is -40 to 85. As for the temperature difference at the high-low temperature chamber, our internal test advise to use the standard temperature ± 5 ° C for testing to ensure the same testing results at end-user. Test Process: 1. Decrease the temperature to -50°C at power off and keep for 4 hours. Please don't operate the low temperature test when power is on. It is very important that Chip itself will generate + 20 ° C, so, it easily to pass the low temperature test when power is on. We must freeze completely the disk and then boot to test others 2. Power on and test the read/write performances whether normal compare with standard temperature. 3. Burning Test: to see any errors occurs 4. Power Cycle Test 5. Raise the temperature to +90°C and keep for 4 hours. The test is different with low temperature that keeping the internal temperature of the chip at the high temperature in the process of raise and follow the 2、3、4 steps after 4 hours.


6. High and low temperature test repeat 10 times. If any error occurs in the process of test, the test failed.

Temperature Shock Test Temperature shock: the rapid transition from low to high temperature in a few minutes (or defined the time), as well as fast transitions from high to low temperatures. The general setting is from low temperature, the transition time from -50 ° C to +90 ° C lower than 3 mins, or start the same test from high to low temp(-50 ° C to +90 ° C). You can run the burning test to compare the data whether any errors in the process of rapid transition of temperature. The detail testing standard refer to : GB/T 2423.34,IEC 60068-2-38,GJB150.5
