Accessing the Member Center on the NMJ website requires each user to register an account. To begin, click on Member Center from the main navigation or it can be accessed directly at https://scottishritenmj.org/login.
Click on the Sign In/Register To Member Center button. Users will also see additional notes and instructions available on this page.
In the pop-up, first time users will need to click on the link â€œNot yet registered?â€?
Users will need to enter the nine-digit member number found on their gray permanent membership card. If this card has not yet been received or has been misplaced, users should contact the help desk through the NMJ site and this information can be provided. If a replacement card is needed, it can be requested at that time. Please note that membership cards for new members are processed as quickly as possible but it can take a couple of weeks for them to be generated and mailed depending on volume.
Next, click on the drop-downs to select the month, day, and year of birth.
Click on Find. If an error is generated at this step, and a correct member number has been entered, it is possible that an incorrect date of birth has been entered in the member record. Please contact the help desk to verify the correct date of birth and this should enable users to complete the account registration.
Enter the desired email address to be associated with the account and member record.
Confirm the email entered in the previous step.
Scroll down to the next set of entry fields.
Enter the desired password to be used to access the online account. Strong passwords are always encouraged to safeguard online information. Password managers/generators will allow for more complex/random passwords to protect user accounts. Strong Password Tips • • • • •
At least 8 characters Mix of both uppercase and lowercase letters Mix of letters and numbers Use of at least one special character (Example: ! @ # $ ?) Use of a password manager + random password generator (optional)
Confirm the password entry from the previous step.
Click on Register. A confirmation email will be sent with instructions to confirm and complete the account registration.
Upon returning to the Member Center, users can input either their email or member number in the user name field.
Enter the established account password.
Click on Login.
Success! Users will be directed to the Member Center Landing page. From here all the various pages/sections of the Member Center can be easily accessed. From time to time, additional notifications and notices will also be posted here.
My Dashboard provides a high-level view of the following member account sections: • • • • • •

My Profile provides direct access to update user information as well as to change account access, or update family and military information.
My Degree History will give a visual indication of all degrees witnessed in pursuit of a gold passport.
Missing a degree? Users can easily send a message to their valley secretary requesting that this information be updated. To help facilitate this update, users should provide the degree, date, and location for each missing degree.
Users can also quickly access the degree dates page to find upcoming degrees throughout the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction.
My Payments will allow dues payments and donations to be paid online.
Contacts provides local valley contact information, support help desk information, as well as a directory of all NMJ valleys. This is a particularly helpful reference for users wishing to travel to other valleys to witness degrees or attend events.
