More than 200 Alley patrons and sponsors gathered for a private dinner prior to the opening of the all-American romantic comedy, “You Can’t Take It With You.” Alley Artistic Director Gregory Boyd spoke about playwrights Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, who created the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic that many consider to be one of the greatest American comedies of all time. Urban Retreat opened the doors of the long-awaited Sugar Land location in style with a fabulous grand opening event. In partnership with the Fort Bend Junior Service League, Urban Retreat offered specials on products and services, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the League’s American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Fund. Attendees were treated to a fun evening featuring L’Vere makeovers with the salon’s own line of makeup, hair blowouts and styles, great prizes and the opportunity to meet the Urban Retreat team.
