*Note: Starting tomorrow, only one update will be published at night. Current Status: Today crews will continue to mop-up the line to insure there are no hot spots. The infra red mapping helicopter will be used again today to assist the crews in locating hot spots. Road Closure: Highway 1 is open. Nacimiento-Fergusson Road is open from Highway 1 to the junction with South Coast Ridge Road. Los Burros/ Willow Creek Road are open from Highway 1 to the junction with South Coast Ridge Road. Due to continued emergency traffic in the area, the following roads are closed to the public: • Nacimiento-Fergusson Road from the summit, east to Ft. Hunter Liggett. • South Coast Ridge at the junction of Nacimiento-Fergusson Road south to the junction of Los Burros/ Willow Creek Road. (open to residents only) • McKern Road from South Coast Ridge Road to Ft. Hunter Liggett. Area Closure: Los Padres National Forest has issued an emergency closure order prohibiting entry into the following area of the Forest. Entry is prohibited for public safety due to fire. The closure is within the National Forest System Lands and begins where the Nacimiento-Fergusson Road intersects the South Coast Ridge Road. Then it continues south along the east side of the South Coast Ridge Road to its intersection with McKern Road. Then the closure continues east along the forest boundary to its intersection with Nacimiento-Fergusson Road, then northwest along the west side of Nacimiento-Fergusson Road to the starting point.
