The Public Library Serving the Town of Sprague, Connecticut SPL Non-Fiction Book Discussions Moderated by Patrick Rowley will continue on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 7:00 PM with a discussion of Revolutionary Characters by Gordon S. Wood. The Library has plenty of copies on hand, so feel free to come in and pick up a copy and join us for a lively debate. The Final Discussion will be held on Tuesday June 19 - The Constitution in Exile: How the Federal Government Has Seized Power by Rewriting the Supreme Law of the Land by Andrew Napolitano Who’s really in control of our government? Garden Tips from CT Outdoors

Radio personality and journalist Suzanne Thompson will present “GARDENING TIPS AND TRICKS" at the Sprague Public Library. Saturday, June 9, 2007 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Suzanne’s presentation will include facts and insights learned from the many interesting individuals and Connecticut organizations she has met and interviewed. She'll weave in tips, advice and witticism from area gardening, nature and wildlife experts, authors and enthusiasts, plus favorite tours, events and destinations around the region.

These Programs end on the last day of school. A list of summer programs will be sent home via BackPack Express and will be posted at PRESCHOOLERS STORY TIME every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. A free program for children ages 3-5. Story time may include stories, rhymes, songs, a film or a craft. Please register in advance by coming into the Library. COOL STORIES AND CRAFTS Wednesday afternoon story and craft program for children ages 3 and up at 1:30 PM. Please register in advance by coming into the Library.

SATURDAY BOOK OF THE MONTH CLUB – hosted by Megin Sechin. Get a head start on your Summmer Reading! Join us Saturday May 28, 2007 and share your thoughts on out latest books. This month The seven Professors of the Far North will be featured. Pizza will be served. The books are geared for children in middle school, but all are welcome to attend. Registration is required. Please come to the library, or check our website for the Book of the Month. Saturday April 28th at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. SATURDAY CRAFTS WITH KRISTIN – Kristin Elliot will host a story and crafts event two Saturday afternoons each month at 1:00 PM.
