NESADA First Annual Picnic in Boston, Massachusetts
Due to the nature of storm, it was forecastable for the NESADA to postpone their first Annual Picnic from June 3rd to the next day June 4th. Certainly, the drenching weather had not dampened the NESADA’s spirits from their hectic schedule in preparing the picnic that took place on Sunday, June 4th at the Hopkinton State Park, Boston, Massachusetts. There's no place more convenient than Hopkinton State Park as it is located in the greater Boston area. The park offers beach picnics, hiking, boating, canoeing and other activities like, horseback riding, picnicking, crosscountry skiing, snowmobiling and swimming. The picnic attendees enjoyed socializing with NESADA members and families as well as played game “Black Magic”. The Black magic is a secret game that people have to guess the right answer. It was a fun-filled picnic.
"One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest." --- Maya Angelou
Goodness "For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you'll never walk alone." -- Audrey Hepburn (1929-1993),
Compromise "Compromise: The art of dividing a cake in such a way that everybody believes he got the biggest piece."
NESADA committees want to say thank you to everyone who contributed to our first Annual picnic at the Hopkinton State Park on June 8th. Our volunteers Rich, Danielle, and Christina were great to help us to make our first picnic success. You all did a phenomenal job and made it success we look forward to see you all in our second social event Diwali and Eid 2006 which will take place in Framingham, Massachusetts, on Saturday 7th.
--- Sherry Rothfield
Happiness "I believe the recipe for happiness to be just enough money to pay the monthly bills you acquire, a little surplus to give you confidence, a little too much work each day, enthusiasm for your work, a substantial share of good health, a couple of real friends and a wife and children to share life's beauty with you." --- J. Kenfield Morley
