Editor COMMENTS

PRESTIGE... Prestige either grows or it dries up...it never remains constant. Prestige will grow within you like an inner light provided it is cultivated. This quality is a part of you as an individual, part of your art of contacting people as a salesperson, part of your daily work, part of your job. Build it or lose it...yours is the choice...but, to build it, you must like people and be respected and admired. *** In last week's issue, we asked you to study the by - law proposals and we hope you did and are doing so. That issue has certainly been "noticed!" Wednesday morning, May 4th, Finance Committee Chairman A.M. Vrla called the editor's office and stated that he had to have a letter in the May 11th issue and said he would bring it. He was advised that he could mail it, however, he stated that he didn't trust the mail delivery and wanted to bring it which he did; it appears under the heading -CORRECTION in the "Letter Section." It seems to read the same as a part of the recommendation on page 6, column 4 in last week's issue. If you will read Column 2, page 5 and bottom of column 3 and all of column 4, page 6, of the May 4th issue, you will find NOTHING pertaining to "Finance" anywhere, and now FC chairman is revealing that part of it has been VOIDED. He stated to this editor that the recommendation on page 5 should not have been printed and he was referred to Article 20(e): (e) The secretary shall forward all signed recommended changes to the bylaws to the Vestnik for publication.

whereupon he stated that the By - law Committee should not have submitted it and he was reminded that By - law Committee Secretary Leona Macha was doing her duty as prescribed in SPJST Article 20(e). Then, he was questioned by yours truly if he, as FC chairman, was familiar with Article 25? -He said he was and was questioned: Where does he find anything in that article that gives his committee (FC) any jurisdiction over anything other than "finances?" ARTICLE (a) The Finance Committee shall meet at least biennially to review the retirement plan and recommend changes to the Supreme Lodge and will meet as necessary during the year of the convention, after January 1, for the purpose of reviewing the overall financial posture of the Society. (b) The Finance Committee recommends to the convention per diem of delegates and committees, salaries of members of the Supreme Lodge and editor, donations, allocations, and expenditures. The recommendations of this committee shall be published in the Vestnik 30 days prior to the convention.

Saturday, March 19th this editor was requested by the By - law Committee to meet with them at 11:30 a.m. pertaining to the editor's position, which he did for approximately 45 minutes; he appreciated being given the opportunity and enjoyed the meeting. The Insurance and Finance Committees were also meeting that same day and all went to lunch to return at 1:30 p.m. About a five -

minute visit was enjoyed with the Insurance Committee at 1:30 p.m., and then a visit in the lobby with SL Financial Secretary Jerry Mikulas while we waited for the Finance Committee which was meeting with the By - law Committee (evidently about their January 9th recommendation). When their meeting with the By - law Committee was over, yours truly visited with the Finance Committee for five minutes. The reason for the above explanation is that when the recommendation on page 5, column 2, May 4th, came to this writer's attention, it came as a complete surprise since there was NO question asked about the editor's position while attending the Finance Committee meeting and, yet, that proposal contained a very drastic change in that position which has been a part of our SPJST Society since 1897: having a member charged with the responsibility of a society publication for the membership chosen democratically by the delegates representing the membership at conventions. This editor is certainly willing to spend time with any committee when requested pertaining to duties, responsibilities, etc. of the *** Fraternal Coordinator -- The NFCA Headquarters Office announces we have a new staff member. Ms. Deborah Zeman officially began her career as our Fraternal Coordinator on Monday, April 25th. Deborah has been a director of an NFCA member society, CSA Fraternal Life. She has been a CSA member since age 7. She graduated from Maryville College in St. Louis and has work experience in television journalism and as Public Relations Director for a broadcasting college. Her first task is to become familiar with NFCA, its operation, and its members. We hope to have her meet many of you as soon as she gets adjusted to her new surroundings. I know from personal experience everyone will make her feel welcome and give her ideas and encouragement. We're pleased to welcome her. (Editor's note -- The above is from the NFCA Newsletter Volume 5, Number 9 - May, 1988 and we congratulate Ms. Deborah Zeman on her selection as -- a NFCA Fraternal Coordinator. CSA Fraternal Life is, of course, the original "mother" society of SPJST and WFLA. Zeman is a Czech name and, while glancing through a TV Guide one night, your editor noticed an actress with the same last name pictured playing in "General Hospital," I think.) *** Going on a Long Trip? The Argonne Anti - Jet - Lag Diet is helping travelers quickly adjust their bodies' internal clocks to new time zones. It is also being used to speed the adjustment of shiftworkers, such as power plant operators, to periodically rotating work hours. Here's how it works: Determine the breakfast time at your destination on the day of arrival. Feast - Fast - Feast - Fast on home time, starting three days before departure day. In other words, on day one, FEAST. Day two, FAST. Day three, FEAST. On day four, departure day, FAST, and avoid caffeinated beverages. Break the final fast at destination breakfast time. No alcohol on the plane. Feast on a high - protein breakfast and continue the day's meals according the meal times at your destination.

Dear Brothers and Sisters: We are preparing for the 1988 Convention to be held in Temple on June 19, 1988 and, as in the past, the convention has provided assistance to members of the SPJST Society who were judged as hardship cases. We would like to continue this policy at the June Convention. The Finance Committee has set a guide for the assistance of judgirrg these cases: 1. The member who needs assistance must submit his/her name to the local lodge officers who, in turn, will review the case. 2. The application must be signed by the local lodge president and secretary. 3. The application must explain why he/she needs assistance. 4. There is no age limit for the member who needs assistance. 5. It makes no difference where the member is living. 6. The donation is not of a great sum and is for one time only. 7. The application must be mailed to the Finance Committee no later than May 30, 1988. Letters postmarked after May 30 will not be considered. All cases will be reveiwed by the committee before the convention; none will be accepted at the convention.

Dear Readers: Our May meeting was called to order on May 1st. After our pledge to the flag, our visitors were recognized, Kevin Reinhart, Beth Spears and Kathy Shaver. Secretary - Treasurer Rose Mary Banik read last month's minutes and then gave the treasurer's report. She also read a letter from the Supreme Lodge concerning the changes in the Alcoholic Beverage Laws. 39, Bryan Re-Opens Dances "Under New Management" Lodge

Dear Readers: Lodge No. 39 will be re - opening their doors with dances for the public. As many of you are aware, Mike Faust was elected in January as the new "Entertainment Chairperson" in charge of hall functions for our lodge. He has asked me to be his assistant and I have indeed enjoyed working with him. I look forward to helping him in the future and it is our desire to make every endeavor to promote, strengthen, and build our lodge BACK UP that we may, together as "the membership," prosper and dwell within a fraternal spirit. Our "Grand Re.- opening" Dance is

scheduled for Saturday, May 21st and will feature the great "Vrazel Polka Band" from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. We are very excited about this first dance and we encourage everyone to come out to join us for some good old - fashioned fun! So, pass the word and invite your friends too! Our next lodge and youth club meetings are scheduled for Sunday, June 5th at which there will be a "Family Fun Day" featuring games; volleyball, horseshoes, dominoes, cards, music, and a potluck supper. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and hopefully we can begin activities around 3 p.m. and share a meal at 6 p.m. So, bring a dish to spread and come out to fellowship! There will be a district - wide volleyball tournament in September and hopefully we will be able to form some teams and do some practicing at the "fun - day." If you are interested in playing but cannot attend on the 5th, please let me know. If you are a member of this lodge, please consider coming out -- we promise you a "brand - new," pleasant and fraternal environment with fun and fellowship, and, a wonderful youth group for your children -- ages 6 - 17. The first quarterly meeting of 1988 was held at Lone Star Hall in West on March 6, with President Ted Kocian presiding. We all stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag, with Jennifer Kocian leading. Everyone remained standing for a few moments of silence for our departed Brother Robert Lee Kapavik who died on February 13 and Sister Christine Soukup who died on March 3rd. Roll call of officers showed all present. President Kocian commended the Sokol group for all of the improvements that have been made to the hall. There have been many hours spent in hard work by these caring people and the results are quite evident. Secretary Anne Emery read the minutes of the December 6, 1987 meeting; these were approved as read. Financial Secretary Maxine Sefcik gave her report which was approved as read. We have gained a new youth member, Amanda Lynn Cormier, who was signed up by Sales Representative Bernice Pustejovsky. Our membership status as of February 29, 1988 shows 339 active members, 327 paid - up members for a total membership of 666. Treasurer Freddie Kaluza presented the treasurer's report which was approved as read. Sister Beanie Kacir reported that the Audit Committee met and found all records to be in order. We have two members who are to receive 50 - year membership pins, namely, Mildred Grossman and Albina Navratil. The pins will be mailed to these members and they are invited to attend the next meeting so we can have pictures taken and recognize these two lodge sisters. Sister Beanie Kacir reported that the report of Local Unit Activity for the 12 - month period ending December 31, 1987 showed a total of 3,957 hours of fraternal service and $4,856.50 of charitable disbursements. We appreciate all members who take the time to report to the lodge and we feel the amounts would be far greater if more members participated.

Brother Rudy Sefcik suggested that all delegates to the upcoming convention meet and hold a discussion regarding SPJST By - laws. Brother Freddie Kaluza reported that Brandon seems to be doing quite well at this time, but has one more year of chemotherapy to undergo. Our prayers and best wishes are with Brandon and his family. Our next meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on May 22, 1988. We encourage more people to attend these meetings and take part in lodge activities. Sister Lillie Mynar was the winner of the door prize. The meeting was adjourned and everyone enjoyed a social hour with refreshments. Afterwards, a delicious spaghetti supper was served by the Kitchen Committee. Our thanks to these ladies for the delicious food they prepare for our meetings. Fraternally, Anne Emery, English Reporter —SPJSTLodge

Dear Members: When I was selected as a reporter for our lodge at our annual meeting last December, I told my fellow members I would try to have some news from our lodge every month, but, since last Christmas, I have, as they say, "been kinda under the weather," going to the hospital quite often. I'm beginning to feel better now, so that was the reason I was not writing in our beloved Vestnik. I hope my sisters and brothers at our lodge understand the reason. I attended our regular meeting on Sunday, April 10th. President Bohac called our meeting to order and welcomed all members present. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to our flag and we were also asked to stand for a moment in silence to honor our departed members of our lodge. All officers were present, except Vice President Jerry Massar, so the president asked Brother Frankie Pajestka, Jr. to fill his vacancy for this meeting. Secretary Latham read the minutes of our March meeting and they were accepted as read. I am sorry to report that 3 of our members passed away since our last meeting. They are John Zajicek, Henry Balusek and Ray Morris. Eternal rest grant them! In correspondence, Secretary Latham read the following thank you notes from Shannon Stroud for Lodge 80 buying his Grand Champion swine at Bell County Fair; from the American Legion Auxiliary of Holland for the support of their bake sale and for the use of our lodge hall for same; from the Henry Balusek family for flowers sent from our lodge for Brother Balusek's funeral and also thanks for flowers from the Ray Morris family. We had one new member accepted to our lodge, namely, Agnacio Caranza and Doris Ledbetter transferred from Lodge No. 24 to Lodge No. 80. Welcome Doris and Agnacio to our assembly. Brother President Bohac thanked all the members who attended the District II spring meeting at Lodge 47. I was sorry I had to miss it because I was in the hospital at the time. We members always are glad to hear the good report Brother Latham gives us from the income and expenses for the lodge hall. Our Bingo games are doing well; however, our dances have not been doing very well. lately. I hope that some time in the near future we can have a good Czech band some

Wednesday, May 11, 1988—VESTNIK/7 Sunday afternoon for our older folks because these afternoons sure are long with this Daylight Saving Time. Some of by - laws of our SPJST were discussed at the meeting; I am sure they will be brought up at the coming convention. As I am writing this letter, Friday morning, April 29th, a wonderful rain is falling; it will be greatly welcomed by everyone. At 11 a.m., I looked at my rain gauge and it showed 1.7 inches and prospects look for more to come. Our door prize winners at this meeting were Glen Latham, Louise Ivicic, Joe Barabas, Jr, Ligie Ivicic and D.I. Bohac. Happy hour followed the adjournment of our meeting. If you haven't a place to go on the first Sunday afternoon of the month, you special members come to our meeting. In closing, I will leave this thought with you -- "The driver who has one for the road," will have state trooper as a chaser. Fraternally, Joe Barabas, Jr. Reporter/Honorary President

This past week Waltrip High School had a District Tennis Tournament. Two members of the Youth Club participated; they were my niece, Kristi Green, and Joci Wilson. Kristi got second place in singles and Joci and her partner got 1st place in doubles. Both will advance to the Regional Tournament on April 29th. Kristi is the daughter of Larry and Betty Gayle Green, and Joci is the daughter of Armand and Lee Wilson. They are all SPJST members. Mrs. Annie Vala informed me that her granddaughter, Darlene Migl, won 1st place in the T - shirt designing contest for the SPJST Camp T - shirt. There were 65 entries and that was competition. Then, at the same time, her twin sister, Marlene, won 1st place at St. Agnes High School T - shirt contest for the Sophomore Class. Darlene and Marlene are hard workers in the Youth Club. Grandma Vala, that is something to be proud of, and that goes for her parents, Leroy and Margaret Migl. On Saturday, April 16, the New Red Ravens played at Lodge 88. Henry and Adella Kite were in command of the dance, Edwin and Agnes Gerlich, Ed and Ellen Miculka assisted. Guy

Lambardo played Saturday, April 23rd. We are so happy about the big crowds we are having. The dances are all listed in your bulletin and the Vestnik. If you'd like to get a bulletin or dance calendar, they are available at the Lodge 88 office. Thank you good people for coming -- like Louis Hanus always says, "Only the finest people come to Lodge 88." The Texas State Championship Fiddler's Frolic was held at the huge. KC Hall in Hallettsville on April 22, 23 and 24th. I had the privilege of going with my children, Al and Arlene Marshall; also Arnold Cmajdalka and Lorene and Wilbert Koehn joined us. You'd think it would be boring to listen to nothing but fiddlers for 5 hours, but no, you don't, when Yogi Baird wraps both legs around his neck and still keeps on fiddling, you wonder if-he'll ever get those legs unwrapped. They had a crowd of around 2,000 people, some from as far away as Alabama. I think I want to be there next year. Harley and Viola Cox - are grandparents again, and are they ever happy! Their son, Donnie and wife, Gina, had a little girl born to them on April 13, 1988 at 11:41 p.m. She, Cayla Elyse, weighed 9 lbs. and 2 ozs. and was 20 1/2 inches long. Carlton and Nelda McCoy are the other grandparents. We wish the family lots of happiness with their little girl. I like the statement "Bundle of Joy," as that is just what she is! E.E. Chernosky, Jr. from Boston, Massachusetts died recently; he was the son of a great SPJST fraternalist E.E. Chernosky and wife, Hettie, and a nephew of the Past President C.H. Chernosky of the Supreme Lodge. On June 5 is a big day at Lodge 88 -Splash Day and Homecoming. This is a special treat for our members, and a lot of enjoyment for our youth. They stay in the pool all day, and when the day ends they are all red as crawfish. The pool will be open Saturday, the 4th, this is only a warm - up for Sunday. The rates are $1 per member and $3 for guests for each day -- this could change though, due to some circumstances which could occur. A barbecue dinner will be served free to members, and non - members will have to pay $4.50 for adults and $3 for children. The Birthday Club will have a pastry booth. We'd appreciate some good pastry from you members. We will play Bingo from 2 to 4 p.m. and then the Birthday Club will have a sale, and from 5 to 9 p.m. a free dance with LeeRoy Rybak furnishing the music. There will be a spinning wheel by the officers and sales representatives, so each officer and sales representative contribute something to the "Wheel of Fortune." Thanks so much.

At this time it is fitting to enumerate the significant achievements performed by Sister Frances Olexa during the past 69 years as a member of Lodge 88. Needless to say, she was endowed with a spirit of benevolence and she Lertainly applied this gift to the SPJST. And one has to be aware that she dedicated herself to the complete service as a Humanitarian and Fraternalist in the SPJST, and was chosen for this honor as a nominee because of her tireless efforts maintained in each office and committee in which she served - all without compensation. This committee supported this nomination for various reasons. She served in every elected office of Lodge 88, with the exception of the office of president, and they are as follows: As vice president for 7 years during which time her news articles appeared in the VESTNIK every week, treasurer for 2 years, financial secretary for 10 years, served on the Board of Trustees, District V representative for 35 years, served on the Publications Committee for 25 years, recording secretary for 10 years, and delegate to the State Convention. In 1944, she became the first woman elected to this position (at Lodge 88) and since that time has been elected as delegate to every convention -11 in all.

Pictured, L to R: Rosa Lee Kostom, Frances Olexa [honoree], Mickey Rice and Naomi Spencer — Committee for the Fraternalist of the Year Award. After giving this matter serious consideration this committee presented its recommendations before the membership at the monthly meeting of October 13th last )rear. You will recall the nomination was made and seconded in favor of Sister Frances Olexa and, at that time, the response brought a unanimous standing ovation.

Sister Frances Olexa She also served on the following committees: Charter member and first president of the Birthday Club which was organized in 1946, Czech reporter for the Birthday Club, organized the kola bake and served 7 years, active in the Hlahol Dramatic Club since 1920, also served as secretary and treasurer. Charter member of the Choral Club, and remains active. She was appointed Historian in 1971, and served for 8 -years. This appointment called for the translation of the minutes of Lodge 88 from the Czech language into English. (Minutes were recorded in the Czech language since the lodge was organized in 1910 and continued through 1949.) This move finally led to the History of Lodge 88, which was printed in 1980. Civic and community organizations which nominee belonged to were: Busy Bees during WWI, which was conducted by the American Red Cross. And, finally she served as volunteer in the Shrine Crippled Children's Hospital which is supported by the Masons. Along with her official duties, one of her latest projects was to design and complete 8 beautiful Czech costumes for the Beseda dancers. Now for a personal side of her life. She was married to Brother Frank Olexa on the stage of the first Lodge 88 building located on Robbie Street. She

Dear SPJST Members: The dinner - dance social of Sunday, April 17th was well attended and those of you who missed it can look forward to September 25th for the next social. Henry Repka and his mixture of country/western and polkas was well received because everyone was still dancing when it was over at 7 p.m. The lodge received many compliments on a good meal and good time had by everyone. During dinner between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., "The Accordian Band" from Galveston County made the meal more enjoyable with many Czech members. Also the Square Dancers had everyone joining in for something different. Lodge 172 meeting of April 27th was well organized, even though several of our regular members did not attend due to illness. All officers were present except our Board Chairman Joe Krenek who had business in Canyon Lake. Both, the monthly meeting minutes and executive meeting minutes were accepted as read by secretary Sister Carla Krenek. Reports were given by other officers and chairpersons; as always, the bar and entertainment reports were very encouraging as all our dances have been well attended. Of course, summer time will soon be here and, each year during this time, dances do fall off some.

Our ladies of the lodge have been raising money to purchase a driveway canopy before the end of the year and bad weather arrives. The sale of cookbooks and the sale of cakes and pastry with the various sales by the entertainment group have worked out well and soon the trustees will be receiving bids for the addition. Our lodge is supporting "The Bridge" here in Pasadena, a home for abused women and children. We have a pickup load of items to deliver this week and will continue to ask support from everyone during May for any paper products, infant clothes, canned foods and many donations. Any type of women's clothes and shoes will be appreciated. If you need more information on this, please call our lodge at (713) 487 - 3297. As always, the Saturday night dances are doing well and several new bands have appeared also, once a month, on Friday night, the Entertainment Committee has booked ballroom music and on May 20th, "My Galveston Band" will appear. These are bands playing Big Band Sounds of the 40s, 50s and 60s. The Czech Heritage Society of Harris County, which has a membership of 85, held their spring meeting at Lodge 88, Houston on Sunday, April 24th. Jaroslav Bilek of Rosenberg had a presentation of Czech clothes and the meeting was very active and interesting. It was also noted that, at the present time, there are 4 different locations in Harris County offering Czech classes. It is very encouraging to have that many people interested in learning Czech. Pasadena lodge is one of the places which has a Czech class and soon we will finish for this year. I do hope we can start another class soon. Houston, Texas Dear Editor: I would like to express my opinion on the recreation and camping facilities issue which will be voted on at the upcoming convention in Temple. As a non - delegate, I think the investment in Texas land would always hold its value and always be desirable in the future. To have a place you could call your own, centrally located to service the entire SPJST family, would certainly be an asset to any organization. It could be available year - round for fraternal activities and functions. It also could be designed to serve all brothers and sisters of all ages. Jobs could be created by the SPJST and could help stimulate Texas. The urgency to act on this matter is "NOW." Our future of continuous growth of this great organization is dependent on the convention delegation. Fraternally yours, Fred C. Buri Member of Lodge 142, Houston

Announcements

Andrew J. Vavra TO: The Delegates and Members of District I: For the benefit of you who may have not met me or know me, I am Andrew J. Vavra, director of District I. I was elected Substitute Director in the 1984 Convention in Corpus Christi, Texas. After the death of our Director Ben Trcalek, I immediately assumed the position of District I Director. I am a member of Lodge 17, Novy Tabor and have been for over 50 years. I have been an active member for over

25 years. I served as secretary of District I for one year, vice president of Lodge 17 for 81/2 years and president for 81/2 years. I resigned from this office after assuming the office of District I Director. My wife, Lola, and I have been married 41 years and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. We live 4 miles east of Caldwell in the New Tabor community. After 36 years as a cross - country driver, I retired in April, 1987. The last 12 years I represented the drivers as job steward. I am a member of the VFW, Cooks Point Community Services, vice president of the local RVOS Lodge No. 9, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Retirees and other community activities. Since accepting this office in October 1987, I have assisted a District I lodge to become better organized with local lodge rules and regulations. These rules have been implemented and are working very well. Another lodge in our district has been re organized . The memberships' enthusiasm has been overwhelming. Very recently, 2 lodges in our district have merged together, of which I was very proud to be a part. It has been my pleasure to visit with a number of lodges in my district. I hope to have the honor of visiting the rest of the lodges in the very near future. I am a firm believer and supporter of our SPJST youth programs and activities. They are very beneficial to the youth in learning how our Society operates in fraternalism, leadership and all aspects of operation of our organization. The State Youth Director, District Youth Counselors, local Youth Leaders, and Assistants, along with all the parents of the youth, certainly deserve the recognition and full support of the Society. Anytime you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them. If I am unable to, I will get you an answer from the Supreme. Lodge. If you have any comments or suggestions that may be beneficial to our lodges or the SPJST as a whole, please feel free to call upon me. I will be glad to present them to the Supreme Lodge Board at our quarterly meetings. My address and telephone number appear on page 2 of every Vestnik. I would like to personally thank the lodges and the members of this district I have had the pleasure of visiting and working with. I sincerely appreciate all the kind words said and written about me. At this time, I would like to say that I am a candidate for. the position of District Director of District I and am asking you delegates for your support to elect me to this position in the June Convention in Temple, Texas. I am looking forward to facing the challenges and rewards of this District and this Society. Fraternally yours, Andrew J. Vavra Director, District I —SPJST-

Letters From The Youth

Lodge No. 39, Bryan Youth Club News

Lodge 88, Houston Youth Club

Dear Readers: The youth group of Lodge No. 39, Bryan held a fund - raising carwash in the parking lot of "Archie's Hamburgers" in College Station on April 16th. Even with the "cloudy, overcast, skies," the proceeds were very good. Thanks to Youth Leader Linda Faust for her help in coordinating the event, to the parents who willingly stayed and helped, to all those who brought their cars by and, last but not least, to our youth for their hard work ! Our next youth meeting will be held on Sunday, May 15th at Linda's house followed by a "backyard hamburger outing." We will be going over our YAD talents so be sure and bring your music, tapes, records or whatever you need to perform your talent.

Games Workshop

At this time, I would like to extend a hearty "welcome" to our newest youth member, Erin Luza. She has been attending our meetings and functions for some time as a social member and is turning 6 years old this month, so, to you, Erin, we say "Welcome" and "Happy Birthday!" Looking further down the road, our June meeting will be held on Sunday, June 5th, immediately following the lodge meeting. We will then participate in the "Family Fund - Day" and potluck supper sponsored by the lodge. Bring your entire family -- and, INVITE A FRIEND OR TWO -- the more, the merrier! Our summer trip is scheduled for June 10th and 1 lth. Although the details are not yet finalized, it will be an overnighter and we urge all the youth to attend this fun event. Remember, this is what we worked so hard for during the year! As you can see, we are gearing up with a busy schedule so far and there's more to come! If you are a member of Lodge No. 39 and you are between the ages of 6 and 17, we invite you and encourage you to join us for our many activities and fun times.

Ja nevim, ie ui jednou neprijdou k rozumu kdy'l vedi i'e situace bude zase zla a obchod klesne vgude skrze to.

Kam ten svet speje, ie ano? —SPJST-

BEWARE!! DON'T SURRENDER YOUR VALUABLE SPJST LIFE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WITHOUT KNOWING ALL THE FACTS. The SPJST has questioned certain sales methods being used by some companies to persuade people to switch their life insurance from one company to another. Within the insurance industry this is called twisting. If you are approached by an agent to purchase a "deal too good to be true", you'll find after investigating that "it isn't true". The SPJST is owned by its members. Its prime purpose is to furnish you, the member, financial security at the best possible rates. If you are offered a deal that "sounds too good to be true", give your SPJST Sales Representative or the Home Office a call for assistance in checking it out. We are all working together for your benefit.
