Cycling Weekend - New Forest

Fri 8th Aug 2014 - Sun 10th Aug 2014 Lyndhurst, New Forest, Hampshire (SO43 7NL) Lyndhurst Park Hotel £195 Twin Share, £240 Single, £35 Bike Hire Includes two nights hotel accommodation, 2 breakfasts, 1 evening meal (3 courses) on Saturday, 2 days fully guided cycling We have linked up with Graham Hills who organises our Bike day rides for a cycling weekend in the New Forest. We will spend two days and nights in this historic National Park. We will cycle through unenclosed pasture land amongst the iconic miniature ponies. Take in the forest, rivers and the coast on this varied and beautiful part of the country. This will be a great weekend to relax, indulge and have some fun. Over the weekend we will be covering a reasonable distance on mainly flat forest gravel track and quiet country roads. There will be about 3 hours cycling each day at a slow pace. We will be staying in the town of Lyndhurst, in the highly rated Lyndhurst Park Hotel. Cross the road and you are straight into the New Forest, take a stroll up the road to Lyndhurst village where you will find the New Forest Museum and Visitor Centre as well as a variety of shops. The restaurant serves dishes sourced from local produce wherever possible. The price is based on a twin share room and we also have a couple of single rooms (subject to availability.

Vintage Soho Walk + Supper - The 1950's

If you weren't aware before, then by the end of this walk Barrie is sure you'll agree that to have been part of the "Soho crowd" in the 1950's must have been very intoxicating in those austere times. On the walk, Barrie will tell you about the first jazz clubs and coffee bars, the strip joints and the drinking dens. After our walk, we’ll head off to Bella Italia here we’ll have a main course with crisp traditional pizzas or generous bowls of steaming hot pasta on offer, giving us a lovely opportunity to socialise over a meal.

This aerial adventure park is a mightily impressive construction. It overlooks the river Rib valley and has over 50 individual elements on 3 levels of difficulty and 5 zips (including the region's longest zip ride - the BIG ZIP). Face the challenge of either the North or South course! Everyone wears a full body harness and helmet and has to complete the lower level induction to ensure safety competence before venturing upwards. In order to offer a really challenging and involving experience everyone has to clip on and clip off at the junction between each element. However, the innovative Klipa safety system used, ensures that this is done in safety by preventing detachment first!
