ince our inception, businesses have been attracted to Big Media USA because of the assistance we provide in helping them hone their message. The production of a podcast is a key part of what we do, by helping a business, individual, or non-profit focus their message; who is the best person to deliver it and where to place the message is the magic. The good news is that the internet has made it easy for people to shop for products and services. The bad news is that it has also made it harder for businesses and sole practitioners to differentiate themselves from their competitors. How do you stack up against your competitors? If a potential client/customer looks at my online presence vs. my competitors, do I win? Everyone has a website; no matter how nice it is in today’s fast-moving world, a website alone simply isn’t enough. Big Media USA’s Digital Marketing Package is designed to improve your online image and more. Third-party content is valuable and adds credibility to you and your image. The First Pillar of our program is a podcast that is housed on the Big Media USA Platform and pushed out to all the other major online partner platforms. Why is the Podcast interview important? You are the best one to tell your story, things like how you got into the business put in your own words; will show your passion and knowledge. People can make a decision that they want to work with you because of important factors, your sincerity, approachability, compassion, and desire to provide a great product or service. Why do I need an article in INformed People Magazine? The 2nd Pillar An article can dive deeper into who you are and what you do. You prepare it so it can highlight your philosophy, family or associates, and company. The article can be geared to sell products or services and is linked to your podcast. Why do I need to be “In the News”? The 3rd Pillar Remember the potential client/customer is looking at your side by side with your competitor and trying to decide whom to choose. Just imagine how impressive all the professionally produced media can be to your client/customer in a well-thought-out and prepared format. Why Do I Need It? Bonus: : by producing quality content you help your Search Engine Optimization and this makes it easier to be found!

Darnelle Beckford released his fabulous book titled “Let’s Be Realistic Battling Epilepsy and Other Limitations."

Darnelle is 31 years old. He is

a

Jamaican American and he lives in Somerset, NJ. He recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from Berkeley college. He grew up in Irvington, NJ. He moved to Somerset when he was about 10-11 years old. He says that growing up in Irvington was being in a typical Urban community predominantly black; but for him it was mostly a Caribbean community that surrounded him and his family seeing that they were from Jamaica. Where he describes life as

tightknit but also just like every

predominantly black community there was a lack of resources that was not provided in those areas, but his family made do. They did what they had to in oder to make the best of any situation to their advantage. Darnelle was always taught to never let the situation that is around you influence your decisions, and just like any other family he says they would go to each other houses to hangout, cook and do family things. Just your typical Caribbean family, we would eat together and have fun with each other. What inspired me to become an author is funny, and simple. When I was

in

college

doing

school

assignments

my

professors would give us papers to write - with the recommended number of pages, and I would always write more than was recommended and they would always say, "Darnelle every time I get yours, I must make special time." I am good at going into a writing frenzy. This is why I became an author, what you can expect from my book is a lot of different unbelievable things that I went through to get where I needed to be in life and prove that I belong.

Your body, hard vowels In a soft dress, is still. What you can't know is that after you died All the black poets In New York City Took a deep breath, And breathed you out; Dark corners of small clubs, The silence you left twitching On the floors of the gigs You turned your back on, The balled-up fists of notes Flung, angry from a keyboard. You won't be able to hear us Try to etch what rose Off your eyes, from your throat. Out you bleed, not as sweet, or sweaty, Through our dark fingertips. We drum rest We drum thank you We drum stay.

Caged Bird

A free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wing in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn bright lawn and he names the sky his own But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom. -

from the earth. We are all born with a gift; some may have more than one, but we all have a gift that is unique to us and to us only. All have gifts and many persons may never seek to know their gift nor are they aware that they even have one. Most people will spend their whole life never knowing their worth (value,) they will only operate from their skills and not their gifts. As long as you are working from your skills others will determine what your worth is. Your skills are what you have been trained to do, for instance, your education level, your choice of study, or on-the-job training technical skills. Yes, in some cases your skill can also be your gift however your skill is your job, where your gift is your work. For your gift, you go to bed thinking about it, wake up thinking about it, and excited to do it. Your gift is your worth. It will bring you peace, fulfillment, and wealth while at the same time helping others. Your gift will always be involved in helping others. When you operate from your skills there is a limit on your value and others can tell you what you are worth because they can always train others to do your skill. No one else will ever be able to train for your gift as it is GOD-given and only for you. Others can try to imitate it, but they cannot have it, it will only be a counterfeit. You have the original. Your gift is priceless no one can be trained for it. Now is the time to get to know your purpose, know your strength. Don’t chase success or money. Know your gift and money will chase you; be unique this is what makes you valuable. Always do more than what is required of you. When you find or determine what your worth is, stand boldly not arrogantly, be unmovable.

CARIBBEAN CULTURAL VIBRATIONS

Society from parents to institutions, must adopt a new narrative. The disadvantages that a child may or may not have do not define them. And I had to work my butt off for wht I have achieved. That work ethic is a requirement. And a supportive environment must construct the ladder for those like me to climb. At least provide the tools, raw materials, and instructions. I will build the ladder myself if I must. I wrote my story as my reach back so that others can be inspired to take up tools, find materials, research instructions and build their ladders. Some people grow up with a chip on their shoulder because of their family. I grew up with support in my corner. My family gave me a vision of a better life. my parents did not know what to expect, but they encouraged me to strive. As my achievments grew they were consistant. That balance challenged me to do more. I cannot thank them enough. I am proud with exceedng gratitude to present this book as another testiment to the power of family and the power of leveraging their support to believe in yourself.

To all those who intentially or unintentionally stiffled me with their condesending presentations beginning with, "Let's Be Realistic..." I offer no malice only effort. My results speak for themselves. Reader your results will speak as well.

I'm going to be honest, I'd rather have a book in my hands. There is something about the feel of the paper, the way a new book smells. Yes, online is great in some instances, but nothing beats a real paper book.
