ince our inception, businesses have been attracted to Big Media USA because of the assistance we provide in helping them hone their message. The production of a podcast is a key part of what we do, by helping a business, individual, or non-profit focus their message; who is the best person to deliver it and where to place the message is the magic. The good news is that the internet has made it easy for people to shop for products and services. The bad news is that it has also made it harder for businesses and sole practitioners to differentiate themselves from their competitors. How do you stack up against your competitors? If a potential client/customer looks at my online presence vs. my competitors, do I win? Everyone has a website; no matter how nice it is in today’s fast-moving world, a website alone simply isn’t enough. Big Media USA’s Digital Marketing Package is designed to improve your online image and more. Third-party content is valuable and adds credibility to you and your image. The First Pillar of our program is a podcast that is housed on the Big Media USA Platform and pushed out to all the other major online partner platforms. Why is the Podcast interview important? You are the best one to tell your story, things like how you got into the business put in your own words; will show your passion and knowledge. People can make a decision that they want to work with you because of important factors, your sincerity, approachability, compassion, and desire to provide a great product or service. Why do I need an article in INformed People Magazine? The 2nd Pillar An article can dive deeper into who you are and what you do. You prepare it so it can highlight your philosophy, family or associates, and company. The article can be geared to sell products or services and is linked to your podcast. Why do I need to be “In the News”? The 3rd Pillar Remember the potential client/customer is looking at your side by side with your competitor and trying to decide whom to choose. Just imagine how impressive all the professionally produced media can be to your client/customer in a well-thought-out and prepared format. Why Do I Need It? Bonus: : by producing quality content you help your Search Engine Optimization and this makes it easier to be found!

PICNIC: THE ART OF LIVING BY LIA BELTRAMI During this very difficult time, I decided to write a new book on “the art of the picnic,” to make present times lighter. I believe that our aim as artists and communicators is to bring some hope and encourage people to bounce back

Nina's Blues

BY CORNELIUS EADY

Cornelius Eady, "Nina's Blues," from Hardheaded Weather: New and Selected Poems, published by Putnam. Copyright 2008 by Cornelius Eady. Reprinted by permission of the author. Source: Hardheaded Weather: New and Selected Poems (Putnam, 2008)

Your body, hard vowels In a soft dress, is still. What you can't know is that after you died All the black poets In New York City Took a deep breath, And breathed you out; Dark corners of small clubs, The silence you left twitching On the floors of the gigs You turned your back on, The balled-up fists of notes Flung, angry from a keyboard. You won't be able to hear us Try to etch what rose Off your eyes, from your throat. Out you bleed, not as sweet, or sweaty, Through our dark fingertips. We drum rest We drum thank you We drum stay.

Look Beyond is a story of an athlete who plays rugby with just one eye, and of two brothers, Ian and Philip McKinley, who join forces to overcome the problems deriving from Ian's disability. Their story is meant to inspire all those young people who lose heart due to disabilities, loneliness and inner pain and never give up.

Caged Bird

BY MAYA ANGELOU

Maya Angelou, “Caged Bird” from Shaker, Why Don't You Sing? Copyright © 1983 by Maya Angelou. Used by permission of Random House, an imprint and division of Penguin Random House LLC. All rights reserved. Source: The Complete Collected Poems of Maya Angelou (Random House Inc., 1994)

A free bird leaps on the back of the wind and floats downstream till the current ends and dips his wing in the orange sun rays and dares to claim the sky. But a bird that stalks down his narrow cage can seldom see through his bars of rage his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom.

The free bird thinks of another breeze and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees and the fat worms waiting on a dawn bright lawn and he names the sky his own But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream his wings are clipped and his feet are tied so he opens his throat to sing. The caged bird sings with a fearful trill of things unknown but longed for still and his tune is heard on the distant hill for the caged bird sings of freedom. -

COMPLEXion | by Lia Beltrami | India 2021 52 min is an eye-opening and revolutionary documentary that addresses toxic beauty standards through compelling human stories beginning in South Asia. The vision is simple: to dismantle archaic beliefs and provoke global human acceptance; regardless the color of your skin. COMPLEXion unpacks: • the effects of the skin lightening industry; • intergenerational conversations and biases; • the ways in which communities, regardless of socio-economic status can work together to openly speak against unfair standards;

the role of social media and ways we can reconfigure perceptions vs. realities Through the voice and personal journey of Nina Davuluri, an acclaimed activist, actor, entrepreneur and first Indian American and South Asian to become Miss America, COMPLEXion was the catalyst for a movement, forging a new path for realistic and necessary conversations regarding colorism within her own community. We will meet women and men, schoolkids, grandparents, young men from India & Bangladesh - many people with similar vulnerabilities and personal stories of inequalities. Why do beauty standards exist? What is the socioeconomic impact of skin lightening creams? Why does colorism exist? Is colorism inherently racism? COMPLEXion forces us to be better, dig deeper and answer the question, WHY? The time is NOW!
