The American Legion Post 79 of Riverside is proud to report Eric Ulloa of Romana High, Logan Sorber of Notre Dame, and Steen Harris-Pham of North High schools as the 2022 session California Boys State delegates and each a winner of a $500 scholarship from the Legionnaires of Riverside Post 79.
On January 11, 2023, the American Legion Post 79, Riverside, California, recognized three local high school students for their selection and participation in The American Legion California Boys State 2022 session.
The Boys State, this year known as the Boys & Girls State, is a hands-on, realistic experience in Sacramento, California, on civic responsibility for High School students before entering their senior year. The Post 79 student delegates competed against other local students to participate in the state program.
