BUILDER PROFILE Liberty Homes Inc., owned and operated by Dusty Johnston, brings over 20 years of experience in custom homebuilding. In 2000 Johnston used his experience in homebuilding, sales, and customer service to establish Liberty Homes. Dusty has experience in residential and commercial construction, having built more than 500 homes for various production and custom homebuilding companies. Dusty received BASCO’s 2012 Builder of the Year Award and more recently again the 2020 Builder of the Year. He was among the first builders in Oklahoma to receive the Certified Professional Builder certification from the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association and is the current State Chairman of the Certified Professional Builders committee. Liberty Homes builds custom homes primarily in the Norman, Moore, and Oklahoma City Metro area. They offer a wide array of plans, but “Custom Freedom” is their motto for a reason—the customer makes all the choices!
