Do’s and Don’t’s

Use horizontal logo as primary use. Use vertical only when space doesn’t permit use of horizontal. Create a half inch buffer zone between the logo and surrounding text or images. Use white logo on a dark background, and use black logo on a light background.

Change the colors of the logo. Place over a patterned background. Cut off any part of the logo. Place colored logo over similarly colored background. Place black logo over dark background. Place white logo over light background.

Other Typography The font used in brochures, websites, advertisements, etc. is Arial Bold. Do not use Arial Bold in the logo. It is only reserved for uses outside of the logo.

Be sincere and genuine. Be lively and happy. Be inviting and inclusive. Be honest and professional.

Bulleted lists utilize the universal dot bullet, and normal body of text typography.

“Ignite” is in an edited lowercase Voltage Light font, the “g” in “Ignite” is represented by the logo icon. “Succeed” is in Book Antiqua Bold font, and has a capital S and the following letters are lowercase. The “Women’s Leadership Summit” caption featured on the vertical and horizontal logos is in uppercase Book Antiqua Bold.

Event Tagline THE POWER OF US The annual event tagline for the Friday, June 14 2020 event is The Power of Us. Speakers will address how women can access the power ouf collaboration, community, generations, and inclusion.

Do not cut off people’s faces when cropping. Focal points or subjects should not be cropped out. Leave out unecessary details. Don’t cut off limbs at joints. When cropping faces, leave some breathing room.

Should present a sense of inclusion (present women of various ages, races, etc.). Portray working/volunteering women, not just in an office environment. Photos should present a sense of reality and not feel too staged. Make photos look professional but lively.
