CHAMBER FOCUS Businesses Connect at Oktoberfest Primetime Expo Several hundred people enjoyed the festive atmosphere at the Chamber's first Oktoberfest Primetime Expo and Business After Hours event. Delightful smells of Oktoberfest-themed foods—bratwurst, soft pretzels with mustard, potato salad, and more—provided by The Deli Korner filled the air at the Cleveland Park Events Center. The event—presented by SunTrust Bank, SwaimBrown, and Brown & Brown Insurance—was a unique opportunity for Chamber businesses to showcase their products or services. “We took a traditional trade show, shortened it to three hours, added an Oktoberfest theme, and shifted the focus away from the booth and towards the members, good conversations, and creating new business relationships,” said Meric Gambel, Director of Business Development for the Chamber. “It was a tremendous success for attendees, exhibitors, and the Chamber.” Thanks to our presenting sponsors and all of the participating businesses: • 401k MD • First Citizens Bank • Safe Secure Space • All About Seniors • GOS • Senior Care Consultants of SC • American Red Cross • Gotcha Covered Marine • SendOutCards • American Transmed Inc. • The Healing Place • ServiceMaster of Sparkle City • The Brickhouse and • HTI Employment Solutions • ServiceMaster of Spartanburg The Upstairs Bar • Integral Solutions Group • Shertech Pharmacy • CertusBank • IT Pros • Sodfather Landscaping & • Chadwell Orthodontics • Ivey-O'Sullivan Health Care Maintenance • Charter Business Services, PA • Spartanburg County Parks • Cohen's Closeouts • Mary Black Health System Department • Comfort Keepers • Michelin North America • Spartanburg Pediatric Dentistry • Contingent Resource • Morris Business Solutions • Thorne Ambulance Service Solutions, LLC Moss & Associates • The Villas at Lawson Creek • COSTCO Wholesale • Olive and Then Some • Upper Cervical Health Centers • Crowder Industrial • Pure Barre Spartanburg of America Company LLC • RDK Clothiers • Upstate Workforce Investment • Dillon Pointe Assisted Living • Reel Video & Stills Board • Express Employment • The Reserve at Park West • Virginia College Professionals • Residence Inn by Marriott • Wize Guys • Extreme Media Productions • Rogers & Callcott Environmental • WSPA • The Fabricsmith LLC • S&D Coffee, Inc. • Young Office
