CHAMBER FOCUS eXoprint committed to making community connections
Spartanburg tourism recognized with national readers’ choice award
eXoprint is a local family run company founded by Brad Colburn and his brother Ryan Colburn. eXoprint opened its doors for business in January of 2012. Having 7 years of experience working in the managed print arena, Brad wanted to find a way to put his own touch on how clients would receive the dedicated level of service that they expect under an MPS agreement eXoprint joined the Spartanburg Area Chamber of Commerce to be a part of the local business community. Getting involved with local companies is very important to the economic future of all businesses here in the upstate. “Ryan and I both find it important for local businesses to support other local businesses.” It’s why eXoprint is excited to be a sponsor of the City of Spartanburg’s Main Street Challenge, to help the city bring more growth to Spartanburg. “It’s one of the reasons we chose to put our office where we did. Not only is it very convenient for us to get to local business’ quickly, it’s just a great environment to go to work.” Their offices are currently located inside the new Downtown Airport terminal building. “Many people aren’t even aware of the great asset the city has in its downtown airport and the economic impact it has on our city and county. We grew up in Spartanburg and want be a part of it's future growth”, said Ryan. eXoprint offers its clients a wide range of in-office print solutions, also known as MPS or Managed Print Services. Their main objective is to help organizations find ways to reduce the cost of in-office printing using the clients currently owned devices. eXoprint provides a custom nocost analysis for each client; “What works for one office, may not work in other office environments. Each client is unique in how their operations work and we enjoy finding ways to help clients reduce costs with what they have. Many businesses have no idea what they are spending on printing costs and we like to show them how much they can save” says Brad Colburn one of eXoprint's partners. Not only can eXoprint help with all of your in-office printing needs, including printers, copiers, and toner, they also have a dedicated recycling program with no fees to any business here in the upstate that would like to take advantage of that service. To get in touch with eXoprint they can be found on the web at www.exoprint.com or reached by phone at 864-208-0057.
Hosting major sporting events and teams from across the country continues to reap rewards: the Spartanburg Convention & Visitors Bureau (SCVB) was recently notified it received a Readers’ Choice Award by SportsEvents Media Group. “We are honored to be one of only three winners in South Carolina,” said Chris Jennings, Director of the SCVB. “This shows the importance of working together, and we share this recognition with the Spartanburg County Parks Department, City of Spartanburg, our hospitality industry, and all our sports tourism partners throughout Spartanburg County.” Jennings cited the new Tyger River Park sports complex, and the work of Sales Manager, Patricia Byrd as integral to the SCVB’s sports tourism success. “Patricia gets rave reviews from the tournament directors, sports event planners and housing bureau representatives for her professionalism, industry relationships and customer service. She is bringing a lot more business to Spartanburg!” Sports event professionals were asked to name the sports commission, convention and visitors bureaus, or sports events venues that they believe display exemplary creativity and professionalism toward the groups they host. Nominations were received from readers throughout the year, and the top picks were selected based on the results from an online voting system. “Due to the power of social media and online voting capabilities, we received an overwhelming response from readers this year, which allowed SportsEvents to honor the destinations and their sports venues,” said Kristen McIntosh, SportsEvents editor. “These award winners have proven they are willing to go above and beyond the normal service levels expected by providing both the physical attributes and commitment to hospitality and service that today’s discriminating sports event planners demand. It is an honor to announce their selection by sports event planners as some of the best in the United States.” SportsEvents Media Group is a leading industry publication focused exclusively on helping sports event planners produce excellent competitions in the United States and Canada. Winners were listed in the January 2013 issue of SportsEvents and a complete list is available online at http://www.sportseventsmagazine. com/2013readerschoice
