DANIELA BLANCO Co-founder and CTO of Sunthetics, Inc. As a chemical engineering PhD student at Tandon, Daniela immersed herself in solar energy research, designing a device that greatly reduces CO2 emissions. This innovation led Daniela to co-found a startup called Sunthetics, for which she now serves as Chief Technology Officer. Participating in NYU’s J-term Startup Sprint, 300K Competition, and InnoVention Competition honed Daniela’s entrepreneurial skills and provided guidance that enabled her venture’s success. Daniela is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the Forbes 30 Under 30 and 2019 Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year.
