Span Jazz: Eduardo Niebla

Theatre: Bipolar Me by Ceri Ashe

Guitar virtuoso Eduardo Niebla brings potent flamenco jazz fusion to Narberth. His highly lyrical style and explorations into Indian, Arabic and classical music are electrifying, brilliant and poignantly poetic guitar playing. “…supernatural talent… spellbinding mixture of flamenco, modern jazz, bursting with obvious passion and verve.” The Spectator Daw pencerddor y gitâr Eduardo Niebla â chyfuniad jazz-fflamenco grymus i Arberth. Mae ei arddull hynod delynegol a’i chwiliadau i gerddoriaeth Indiaidd, Arabaidd a chlasurol yn wefreiddiol gyda chanu gitâr dawnus ac ingol.

A truthful, dark comedy based on the writer’s experience of living with bipolar. From the highs of a festival to the depths of depression and suicide this punchy, enlightening and moving show takes you on a roller coaster of emotions and shines a light on a still much stigmatised subject. Memorable play by Pembrokeshire born playwright and actor, Ceri Ashe, and powerful new theatre company Popty Ping Productions. Using theatre as a tool for social change. Post show Q&A with director, writer and cast. ‘A necessary and inspirational production that’s as urgent as it is moving’ Broadwayworld.com Comedi tywyll a gonest wedi’i seilio ar brofiad yr awdur o fyw gyda chyflwr deubegynol. O afiaith gŵyl i ddyfnderoedd iselder a hunan-laddiad mae’r sioe fachog, ddwys a goleuedig yma’n eich tywys ar daith drwy ystod o emosiynau ac yn taflu goleuni ar bwnc sy’n dal i fod yn un a warthnodir. Drama rymus gan y dramodydd ac actor Ceri Ashe sy’n hannu o Sir Benfro a’r cwmni drama pwerus newydd Popty Ping Productions yn defnyddio theatr fel arf pwerus ar gyfer newid cymdeithasol.
